If a Female Red Ranger can exist, a Male Pink Ranger should exist, too. The fact that there hasn't been one yet is surprising.

Pink is thought to be too feminine, even if some of the same could be said for purple and the first purple ranger was actually male. The real question is that if anyone’s gonna take a male pink ranger seriously.
Though there are a few red Rangers like Wes the Red Time Force Ranger that I almost think could’ve traded colors with Jen(the pink ranger), since Jen was more of the leader. :P

I think that if they do have a male pink ranger, they shouldn't make him girly. I don't see Power Rangers doing that, tho, but doing so would be promoting the stereotype that "only gays guys wear pink". If they just treat it like any other color, it shouldn't be an issue. Because it isn't.

As for taking it seriously, a lot of PR fans don't care. Sure there are the close-minded ones. But, hey, if they don't like it, they don't have to watch it. If the idea of a Male breaking gender norms offends people, then that's their problem.

I think they should after all we have already had a male purple ranger and female red ranger so as long as they don't screw it up by having him act girly and promote a harmful stereotype about how only gay guys wear pink if anything I would love to see a macho male pink ranger.

Oh, and something else we've never had: An Asian Red Ranger. I'd like to see that, too. We've had an Asian ranger in every other color but red.

I just hope that they don't have him end up being gay because the male character that wears feminine colors like pink or has more feminine interests being gay is a bothersome and harmful stereotype.

We are Long overdue for a Masle Pink Ranger. We are also overdue for an LGBT Power Ranger.
