办公室 Are Jim and Pam avoiding talking about Casino Night???

In the DMI episode, after Jim finds out that Dwight and Angela have been dating for two years, Jim says "We should have started dating y--, a long time ago." It seemed like he quickly changed from saying "years ago" as to not bring up the fact that they would have started dating years ago if not for Pam. Do you think Pam and Jim have talked about the Casino Night kiss and subsequent rejection, or is still a sore subject which even Jim tries to not bring up. Or am I just reading WAY too much into this? :)

Either you're not reading too much into this, or we both are, because I was thinking the same thing earlier today. I figure that they probably don't want to talk much about it- especially Jim - like when he came back from Stamford and he made that joke about never having met her and she said, "I don't care." I don't think Pam really minds, but maybe Jim found it kind of embarrassing to put it on the line twice and be rejected twice.

What happened was then, all that matters is that they're together now.

It's been a couple of months since their first date so I would imagine they've worked all of that out already.

I think Jim and Pam are still in the honeymoon phase. They're both so happy to finally be together that they aren't allowing themselves to face any of their problems.

Yup, things are gonna get rocky really soon though, I expect. I want them to be tested, see how much they really love each other.

Yeah, I think that they think it's all in the past, and they are more focused on the future.

Tonight they mentioned when they first knew they liked each other, so they're not avoiding talking about everything in the past...

i thought he stopped himself from saying "years ago" because, years ago pam was engaged.

i never thought about it...
i dont think its really a sore subect 9i like to think jam can talk about anything :D), they probably just dont bring it up much...why would they, right?
