Spoiler Room: Scoop on \'Supernatural,\' \'Once,\' \'Newsroom,\' and more
Welcome to the Spoiler Room, a safe place for spoiler addicts to come on a weekly basis to learn what’s coming next on their favorite shows and, hopefully, get a few of their own questions answered. If you want scoop on a specific show, send your questions to spoilerroom@ew.com.

scoop. How did Dean’s time as a demon change him?
“Right now, it’s less about how he was and what he was, and it’s more about what he might possibly still be,” Jensen Ackles tells me. “He’s still got the mark of Cain so he’s still dealing with whatever adverse effects that’s having on him. What those are have yet to be really defined, but it’s the mystery of what those could be that is really haunting Dean right now. He’s got the shakes. He’s trying to live a cleaner life. He doesn’t want to let does his guard or cloud his judgement.”
I can’t wait to see Emma and Regina working together on
Actually, Emma crashes the party when Regina sets out to find the Snow Queen on her own and ends up crossing paths with her savior frenemy. “Emma is trying to get Regina back,” Lana Parrilla teases. “Regina feels extremely betrayed by Emma and won’t let her off the hook that easy. Regina lashes out verbally quite a bit.” But their arguing will get interrupted when they’re faced with a sudden snow storm. Bonus scoop: Regina will “suffer a loss” during the hour.
It kicks off with a look at the Boston Marathon bombing. Though tragic, the incident provides Maggie a chance to step up in a very surprising way. However, it’s Neal who will steal the show in the premiere as he finds himself wrapped up in a conspiracy that could land him and the whole ACN team in a heap of trouble. Oh, and someone quits by episode’s end.
Word on the street—that street where Mandi Bierly takes pity on me after venturing to eight sets in Vancouver and thankfully gives me scoop—is that Dale Dickey (
) will guest-star as two people who play a pivotal role in Jax getting answers about Gibby, the young redneck whose body went missing after they shot him and his friend in episode 2.
Why the heck would Cisco build a cold gun that could kill the
“He created it as a precaution,” Carlos Valdes says, seemingly hinting that at least Cisco, if not the whole team, may have been worried about the extent of Barry’s powers. But when the gun falls into the hands of Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller), Cisco will learn a pretty valuable lesson. “Cisco has this trajectory of growth,” he says. “Part of that growth involves his coming to terms with responsibility and what it means to be a hero and what it means to accept responsibility for the things that you’ve done. That episode is very important for Cisco in terms of learning the lessons of responsibility, especially when it comes to the people that he loves and the people that he cares about.”
The big Halloween episode is upon us! Though Claire is known for going all out on this holiday, Phil will stifle her this year in favor of doing something a little less spooky. Naturally, this will drive Claire mad when the new neighbors (Steve Zahn and Andrea Anders) taunt her with a friendly competition.
We’re actually going to see a whole new side to Felicity in the episode. “She hadn’t found who she was yet,” Emily Bett Rickards says. “We get to see her in her college years, so she hadn’t stepped into the Felicity we see now. She was still trying to hide.” In present day, Felicity’s mom (Charlotte Ross) will appear at pretty much the worst time possible. “Her mom proves to be a distraction,” Rickards adds. “Keeping secrets becomes a burden for her in that episode.”
Yeah, they’re actually dating again—at least that’s the party line during next Tuesday’s episode. The duo have to fake date to make sure Jess doesn’t end up in jail during Winston’s background check. It all involves some meth and, surprisingly, some pedophilia.
Is Jane going to lose her virginity this season on
Well, the promos for next week show Jane giving Michael a greenlight in that area, but as you could probably guess, the couple’s perfect night won’t go as planned. I can’t say whether the couple goes through with it, but I can say that Raf makes a rather interesting appearance during the evening—and not in the way you’d expect.
—and Will and Sam broke up—does this mean she won’t return to
Au contraire! The actress reveals that she will return in an upcoming episode—though that doesn’t mean there’s hope for Sam and Will. “It’s post-breakup and it’s that moment that you have with somebody that you love and you reach out,” Palicki teases, offering a glimmer of hope: “There’s definitely a lot to be seen in the future.”
Best news I’ve heard all week: The more castings they announce for
