actually for show tats been on for years i think its still strong & probably has more years .

There are a few new episodes I'm not such a fan of... but then again there are a few old episodes I didn't like very much either. On the whole I still love it, and there have always been some episodes stronger than others.

I heard the live action movie was pretty awful though, not that that's really part of the cartoon series as such! (I heard it contradicted a lot of things from the cartoon show)

No,I don't think so,It seems almost the same,the characters are the same,they have the same theme song,well I thought there were some silly episodes,but i thought the same way about some earlier episodes,so for the cartoon no,but maybe for the live action movie..could be a different story too..

I haven't quite made up my mind yet (which is why I probably asked this question, to see what other people think). I don't like some new episodes at all. Like the one with Cosmo's brother, Schnozmo. Wasn't Cosmo supposed to be an only-child? However, I agree on the fact that there have been some older episodes, which have been somewhat weak as well.

I'll just have to wait for some (brand) new episodes to air to make up my mind properly.

I also don't think that the live action movie can be counted as part of the series as such. I would compare it to any other live-action adaptation of a cartoon; nothing like the original but it's there for some reason.It's comparable with the live-action version of Avatar.

Honestly, I think it was stronger towards the beginning/"middle," but it's still relatively high-quality for a show that's been ongoing for so long and hasn't yet been canceled. They've managed to retain just about everything there is to love about it, while adding more and keeping things fairly fresh, without letting it all start to fall apart...which is quite admirable, really. I don't know how much more life it's got in it, but even once they're over, shows such as this and Spongebob should be watched over and over endlessly into the future. =]

And I'm still waiting to see that live-action movie...sounds as though it might be cute, but a wholly separate entity from the series.

i mean, the new ones are funny, but they are just a little bit too weird. i really enjoyed the old ones. :D
