This Elvis song is cool! "Ain't Nothin but a Hound Dog"!

Hound Dog is a really good song. I also like Big Mama Thornton's version.

I think that Bob Dylan was really their biggest influence in their songwriting plus besides Roy Orbrison he was their only influence who they knew personly.

They sound exactly the same. If I didn't know every Beatles song, I wouldn't know who it was

and Bob Dylan influenced The Gaslight Anthem so its win-win

well bob dylan influenced John but bob dylan wasn't around until 1960 and john paul and george were working together since 1958 and they all loved Elvis and felt he was a huge influence and same with Little Richard. I love Dylan i just don't think he was that big of an influence on the beatles in particular

well, elvis was probably their biggest influence but chuck berry was up there too. i was kinda puzzled how bob dylan would be an influence on them since they started in 57 and dylan started around 59, but that could have cam later

Just because Bob Dylan introduced them to pot and other types of grass, doesn't mean he was their biggest influence (maybe with drugs, but music no.) Elvis and Buddy Holly are a complete tie! If John had never of heard Heartbreak Hotel that one day, he really would have never considered going into rock 'n roll. And Buddy Holly influenced them to write their own songs. Really they were well on their way by the time they caught up with Dylan, and they had already found their influences and their *own* sound by that time.

Bob Dylan was more of a poet who wrote beautiful lyrics and sang them with a guitar and harmonica. I dont see that in many of the Beatles' songs. Chuck Berry or the beach boys probably had the most influence
