So we all know that "In My Life" is John's first autobiographical song, and he's 唱歌 about people and places he used to know and all that. 或者 if 你 didn't know, well, that's what I've heard about it anyway, and it rings true to me. But if we interpret the song like that, there's still one part that's a little confusing.
"In my life, I 爱情 你 more".
Who is John talking about? Who did his life culminate in loving, so that in 1965, he can say he loves this "you" 更多 than anything 或者 anyone?
When first listening to the song, my first thought was always that he meant a girlfriend. But if the song is all about real people, how could it be? He didn't have any girlfriend he loved that much in 1965. All he had was Cynthia, and I think we can all agree that a woman he only married because he accidentally made her pregnant in what was supposed to be a one-night stand, and later divorced, couldn't possibly be the culmination of John's life and love. Cynthia may very well be one of those "lovers and friends" John remembers, but that's it.
It would be nice to think he was 唱歌 to all the 粉丝 who hope to win his 爱情 and marry him (like myself) but it sounds like he's 唱歌 to someone he already knows.
So what if John didn't mean "love" in a romantic sense?
Think about it. I can't think of anything John's life had culminated in 由 that point 更多 than the Beatles! What if "I 爱情 你 more" was directed at his three best mates, who are always there for him and with him? What if "In My Life" is John's way of expressing affection for his friends, and for the life they have together? What if the last line really means, "In my life, I 爱情 the Beatles more"?

Let me know what 你 think of this theory! Respectful 评论 only, please.

First off thank you, Layla for the inspiration to write this. Tbh, I think every Beatles 粉丝 should avoid this movie! Here's why.
First off no disrespect to John Lennon, he's a wonderful actor, singer, writer and activist. But this film is not good. It stars Michael Crawford (great actor) and he's basically narrating the film. The movie starts off funny and campy complete with John Lennon's amazing wit and playful banter! His haircut and glasses combo is also really cool! But when hasn't he ever looked wonderful!? The film so far seems like a winner. The chemistry between him and Michael is...

This is what happened, back in the 年 1966.
When Brian Epstein passed 由 the Cavern Club, noticing a teenage girl who was staring right at him and wearing very strange clothing, only to see her suddenly disappear, he concluded he must be overworked. People usually do in cases like these. He made himself an appointment with the doctor, who told him he would do best to go on a relaxing vacation and not think about work for the rest of the year.
But Brian Epstein had already planned out the Beatles' tour schedule. How could they do their tours if he wasn't allowed to keep an eye on them? There...
