i think she cried too much

OMG! I cannot describe how much hate I have for this character. Not only was he whiny, he was the most obnoxious 'person', ever!

By far! also Marissa, Meredith and Brooke at times (especially season 7 with Julian)
Peyton isn´t whiny at all, a lot of terrible things happened to her and she always had a good reason to be upset when she cried. People should cut her some slack, she has lost 2 mothers, her dad was never home, she got shot, a psycho attacked her twice, she lost the love of her life(for a while)and so on..it would be unnatural if she wasn't upset!

She just whines over the same things over and over again, it gets tiring

I'm sorry but bullshit she whines over and over about the same things. For one, she doesn't whine about them. Brooke may be emotional, but she's never been whiny.

A few of my favorite Peyton scenes are scenes when she IS crying/emotional.

2x22/2x23 - Jeyton goodbye/Peyton watching Jake leave.
2x09 - Peyton breaks down after Winter Formal.
1x05 - Peyton sits in her car crying after running red lights & almost getting hit. [This was one of the first moments where I think Hilarie really showed us her depth as an actress.]
2x05 - In the church confession, she starts off doing the dare but then she gets real & it's just so heart-wrenching to me.

I think BOTH ladies, Sophia & Hilarie, {and Joy as well!} usually do phenomenal jobs with their emotional scenes. There are a few scenes where they come off a little "too much", but overall both are excellent!

lol I think there is this misconception that I hate Peyton & that's just not true!
