Roy Harper was raised 由 《勇敢传说》 Bow, a Navajo medicine chief after his father, a forest ranger, died in a forest fire.

Under 《勇敢传说》 Bow's tutelage, Roy became a remarkable archer, and, after 《勇敢传说》 Bow's death, Roy was adopted 由 Oliver Queen, the Green Arrow, and became the Green Arrow's sidekick, "Speedy."
