Enjoying first class with my boyfriend, everything seems at peace... That is, until Sierra paralyzes Cody with some pressure point on his foot. Poor guy. But now he knows how I felt in season one! But, at least he was too busy with Sierra to bother me. But, somehow, he finds a way every now and again. Poor kid. But then, the plane started shaking. I heard Owen shouting for a bit, but then it suddenly stopped. I'm pretty sure Alejandro knocked him out.
When we landed, Everyone fell out of the plane, me ending up on 最佳, 返回页首 of Duncan's back. He looked at me and laughed. He then threw me off of him, making me land face-first in the snow of Yukon. I rolled back onto my knees, brushing the snow from my face and clothes. It was days like these when I was glad I wore combat boots. I walked over to Duncan and pulled him up.
"Gee. Thanks." I 说 sarcastically.
"Aw, I'm appreciated!" he 说 in a happy tone while he threw his arms around me in a huge 熊 hug. "Are 你 suffocating yet?" he asked me in his normal tone.
"No, I'm warm." I 说 while I nuzzled my head into his chest. He let go of me, probably because everyone was watching. We walked over to what looked like a starting line. Chris was explaining to us where we were, and that we didn't have jackets.
"Maybe we should, hu-huddle for warmth?" Courtney offered. Cody walked over to me, only to be pushed into Sierra. I huddled against Duncan, only pressing my back to his chest, my body shaking like crazy. Izzy, LeShawna, and Lindsay immediately ran over to Alejandro. Then Chris started drinking hot chocolate, drinking every last drop just to rub it in.
"Are 你 going to finish that?" Owen asked him. Chris held the cup away from him.
"Of course he is! It's Chris' 最喜爱的 drink!" Sierra interjected.
"Wrong! My-" Chris started.
"Second only to 番茄 juice." She added. The things she knows frighten us all. Then she started going on and on about her unauthorized bio that she was 写作 on him. Then he explained our challenge. We had to get from one side of a half-frozen river to the other, then race dog sleds to the finish line.
We started, Heather and Courtney doing it easily. I jumped onto one.
"Wow. So far so-" I was cut off 由 the sound of ice cracking below me. I stared down in shock. "Whoa!" I screamed while It 分裂, 拆分 below me, my hand on one side, foot on the other.
"Hang on Gwen!" Cody shouted. Oh God. Not now! Then Owen did something, and Duncan jumped onto the half of my ice float and threw me over his shoulder, then continuing jumping. As we were jumping, we passed Bridgette and Alejandro kissing.
"He is such a pervert. Look where his hands are!" I hissed. His hands were right on my best friend's butt.
"He's Alejandro. What did 你 expect?" Duncan said. "That womanizer." He muttered after. We were the first ones to arrive at the sleds. Well, the first ones from our team. Team Victory was first. We got the 秒 sled. Duncan set me on the sled and then put on the harness.
"Hike Duncan, hike!" I laughed. Most people think "mush" is the proper term to get sled 狗 moving. They're wrong. Look it up.
"Woof woof!" Duncan 说 while he saluted me. He then started running. I had to make sure that the whip was out of Heather and Courtney's reach. "So what is the real dog 雪橇, 滑雪橇 terminology?" he asked me.
"In a nutshell, hike means go, easy means slow, whoa means stop, haw means go to the left, gee means go right, and on 由 means let another team go by." I said.
"How do 你 know this?" he asked.
"I spent a winter break with my cousin who lives in Alaska. He taught me." I said.
"Ah." Duncan sighed.
Then we saw Courtney and Heather.
"Easy Duncan!" I called. Duncan slowed down, the two of them jumping onto the back. "Hike!" I shouted. He started gaining speed.
"Why did 你 shout that at him?" Courtney asked.
"Proper dog 雪橇, 滑雪橇 terminology!" Duncan called back.
"Haw Duncan!" I called. He turned to the left.
"Why?" he called back.
"Sierra and Cody!" I called back to him. "Whoa Duncan!" I called when we got to the post. Duncan fell onto his stomach, panting while Cody and Sierra got on.
"What's the signal for 'take a break'?" Duncan asked.
"There isn't one." I smirked. He got up and started running again.
We were doing well, until we were sidetracked 由 a musical number. Chris gave us a quick briefing on what just happened. Then, music.
Bridgette: The strings of my 心 are a 魔发奇缘 mess!
Courtney, me and Heather: Oooh, mess!
Bridgette: It's beating so hard, it comes outta my chest!
Courtney, me and Heather: Oooh, chest!
Bridgette: I tried to fit two men in my soul!
Courtney, me and Heather: Oooh, soul!
Bridgette: I ended up stuck to a pole!
Courtney, me, Duncan, Heather and Sierra: She got stuck! Should've ducked! Worst of luck! Stuck, stuck to a po-oo-le!
Bridgette: I fell for every little thing that he said!

Bridgette: And when I closed my eyes, he jumped on a sled!

"I feel bad about leaving Bridgette." I said, looking back at my blonde friend.
"Just leave her." Courtney snapped.
We then caught up with Team Victory. But, Team CRRRRH ran in front of us, and we crossed last.
"What? Last place?" Heather snapped.
"Actually, Team Victory crossed the finished line without Bridgette, meaning they came in last." Chris said, earning protests from the small team. "Which means Team 亚马逊 is in 秒 place and Team Chris is Really Really Really Crazy Hot takes first." He said. The all guy team - and Izzy - cheered.
"Why is Izzy green?" I whispered to Duncan while he undid his harness.
"Look at the sign on their box." He whispered back. Then I noticed that it was a radioactive sign.
"Oh." I breathed.
"Alright everyone. The plane is a few yards away." Chris said. We all started walking towards the plane, us being in economy class this time. Duncan and I were walking with each other, Courtney glaring at us.
When we got onto the plane, Courtney grabbed my arm. I rolled my eyes and turned to face her.
"What?" I asked.
"Just one quick little question." She said. Here we go again.
"For the last time! Duncan and I are-"
"Yeah yeah yeah. Just friends. It's not about that." She said. I raised an eyebrow. Was she actually going to ask my 建议 on something? "I think Duncan wants to break up with me. What's his 最喜爱的 gift?" she asked. Okay. Two options. One: I tell a lie so that Duncan would hate her even more. 或者 two: Tell the truth so that if Duncan hates her when her gives that wrong gift she won't hate me. As much as it pains me to say this, she's a valuable ally.
"If I had to guess, I would have to say that he would like it if you... Do 你 still have that skull that he gave 你 when 你 were voted off in TDI?" I asked.
"Of course!" she 说 while she pulled the small wood item out of her pocket.
"I think that gift enough is 展示 him that 你 still have that." I said, knowing that wasn't true.
"Thanks Gwen!" she said. Then I walked back over to Duncan. He was trying to stay warm while sitting on one of the wooden benches in economy class. I sat 下一个 to him.
"Courtney's going to 显示 你 that she still has the skull 你 gave her on TDI. 你 have to say that 你 爱情 that she still has it." I said.
"Why?" he asked.
"Because if 你 don't, then she'll hurt me and expect something's up." I said. Then Courtney walked over to us.
"Dunky, do 你 mind if I talk with 你 for a minute?" she asked in a sweet voice, making her seem almost harmless.
"Sure." He said. He rubbed my knee. "Stay warm Gwenny." He said. I smiled at him.
"Have fun." I teased. Then they walked away, leaving me alone.
