Elize Ryd is a really mediocre vocalist. The only reason most people seem to like is her because they think she’s hot.


Amaranthe and Nemesea are some of the best things to happen to me.

Girlie confession: I absolutely love Ailyn’s sense of style. I think if I could raid the wardrobe of any singer, it would be hers. I just looked through some pictures of Sirenia from their set at the Made of Metal festival, and her outfit was amazing!


I saw Xandria and Delain last night. They were super amazing. Their stage energy was awesome and their interaction with the crowd, just as much so. After the show there was a meet and greet. I was so happy, I got to meet Dianne and Charlotte. Both were just so fun and sweet to talk to.


Every time I listen to Hydra I keep linking it to Future Past DLC in Fire Emblem: Awakening.


I had a theory that Amaranthe would basically sound like Icon For Hire if they slowed down the tempo and had male vocals. After hearing Drop Dead Cynical, my suspicions were confirmed.


Was anyone aware of this? I wasn’t. Shame on everyone who watched instead of doing something. 10782 Not true at all. You see, not everyone thinks she’s a mediocre vocalist. I’m kind of insulted that someone would actually most fans would like a singer for such a superficial reason. I think its the other way around; a handful like her for her looks, most fans like her talent and/or personality. I remember when I first heard Amaranthine; I thought it was so beautiful, I was drawn right in. I can’t speak for everyone, but I love her voice, the fact that she is pretty is just a bonus.


I saw Within Temptation with my mom back in 2007 in the first week of my freshman year of high school, and I’m seeing them again next month as a senior in college, again with my mom. It’s like it came full circle.


Charlotte is good at headbanging.


The Drop Dead Cynical music video is kickass.

I can’t even begin to describe all the feelings I feel when listening to “Meadows of Heaven” by Nightwish. It’s just that awesome.


While I think it is terrible that happened to Tarja, I don’t think she should have let the attacker go after they arrested him. I understand she was trying to show compassion and forgiveness because that’s just who she is, but people like the one who attacked her are dangerous and really shouldn’t be allowed to roam the streets after doing something like that. If Marcelo hadn’t been there, who knows what that man would have done to her? Who’s to say he wouldn’t attack someone else? I’m sure she understands the situation better than I do, but I just don’t think sexual assault is something that anyone should be able to get away with.


I’m so excited for Liv’s new solo album “Vervain”. The preview sounds awesome.


In reply to 10782: Elize Ryd is a very well trained vocalist and can belt in a way most singers cant. She kept singing in honor of her dead brother because he told her she should sing metal before he died. That’s pretty extraordinary and far from mediocre.
