The Impala was still parked on the same spot. Meg walked around the car and opened the trunk. She opened one of Cas’ bags and pulled out the first 衬衫 she got her hands on. “Get in the car” she told Cas. “No, passenger seat” she added, when Cas wanted to step inside the driver’s seat. “You can’t drive like that”
She put herself behind the wheel. “I’m surprised 你 can drive at all” she mumbled.
“I can’t” Cas replied. He leaned backwards and closed his eyes.
“Keys?” Meg 说 to herself, looking at the connection. “Keys” she answered her own 问题 as she saw the key was still in the connection. She turned the key, started the car and pushed the accelerator pedal.
Blood flowed over the seats and Cas became paler and paler within minutes. Meg ignored all red lights and traffic signs, until she reached the hospital.
“I think it’s time 你 get a subscription for this” Meg 说 sarcastic. She stopped the car, took the key and put it in her pocket. She opened her door and walked around the car to open Cas’ door. She put his arm around her shoulder and dragged him out of the car. She kicked the door shut and then dragged Cas to the entrance of the hospital.

“Daphne? It’s time to let me go” Martin 说 soft.
Daphne lifted her head and stared at him with wet and bloodshot eyes. “How? I can’t”
“It’s time for me to 移动 on” Martin said. “I’ve been wandering around for too long. I’m done here. If I stay much longer, I could turn into a vengeful spirit”
Daphne shook her head. “I don’t believe that”
“You didn’t believe I would 显示 up in the first place, either” Martin pointed out.
Daphne pulled her shoulders. “How do I let 你 go? Aren’t 你 supposed to walk into the light 或者 something?”
Martin laughed. “Not exactly. 你 have to salt and burn my bones”
“So I need to go to the cemetery?” Daphne asked.
“No. That grave is empty” Martin 说 bitter.
“Then where are your bones?” Daphne asked nervous.
“You’re standing on them” Martin answered.

“Gerard committed suicide last night” Zoey said. “I found him hanging in our bedroom”
Daphne covered her mouth. “Oh my God, that’s…awful” she said
Daphne threw her arms around Zoey and Zoey faked a few tears and sobs. She pushed Daphne away and 说 she had to tell Alexia. She put her 钱包 on the dresser, knowing Daphne would see the letter and be too curious to leave it where it is.
And indeed, a 分钟 later, Daphne stormed outside, hysterically crying how everything was her fault.
Zoey walked back inside, trusting Daphne would need some time to calm down. She opened Daphne’s computer and connected a portable hard drive to it. The hard drive contained a fake video of Cas doing things with Alexia.
Zoey copied the video to Daphne’s files and then removed the hard drive. She closed the computer and called Alexia.
“Let’s go, Lex” she said. “We’re going to your grandparents”
