In 邪恶力量 who is and what happened to Mary Winchester's brother?

In season 2 the Winchester brother's go to visit their mother's grave after there dad died which has apparantley been put up 由 her brother. Then in season 3 when Sam looks into his mother's history he discovers everyone who knew her is dead including her brother. But in season 4 when Dean is sent back in time and meets the Campbells there is no mention of any other child but Mary.

Good question. I mean, there is only that one mention of him, but Dean says "yea, put up 由 our uncle, our man we've never even met", so even though it's an unlikely long shot, it's possible that it was john's brother? But yeah, I've wondered this and it's a good point :S

Well one of the rumours is they are going to go deaper into the history of the Campbells in season 6 so maybe we'll find out then.
