"Breaking Dawn" (Little, Brown and Company, 754 pages, $22.99) 由 Stephenie Meyer: The heartbreakingly beautiful vampires, loyal 狼人 and emotionally torn humans are back for one last round in "Breaking Dawn," the fourth and last installment in the fanatically loved "Twilight Saga" series.

It's a book with some surprises. But the big event takes place near the tale's beginning, leaving the rest of the pages free to detail (and detail, and detail) the shockwaves.

Like the other 图书 in the series, "Breaking Dawn" is a story of a community of 吸血鬼 living relatively peacefully among humans. It examine what happens when a vampire and human fall in love, and the implications for their friendships, families, and life itself.

粉丝 will enjoy a satisfying exploration of the relationship of the vampire Edward, the human Bella and the werewolf Jacob — a relationship reeling from a real curveball. The look at Bella and Edward takes the issues of freewill, sacrifice and self-interest to a new level.

Meanwhile the folks of Forks, Wash., where the 吸血鬼 have located, have their own problems as the tenuous treaty between the 吸血鬼 and 狼人 is tested, stretched, and re-tested.

Series 粉丝 will find much here to love: engaging characters, great humor, a distracting obsession with beauty, focus on the minutiae of emotions.

But casual readers may disappointed with a lot of build-up and little action.

In the current issue of EW Magazine (August 17/24) with Edward and Bella on the cover, there is loads of news on Breaking Dawn – Part 2 including new 图片 from the film. On page 37 of the issue, there is a Q&A with Stephenie Meyer. It also has a new picture of her for the article. There is one 问题 that is about The Host, and I have typed it out below.

It’s hard to say. As a general rule, my experience...

由 Edward Fairfax:

I was lucky enough to be able to sit down with Jenni Frendswith, the 作者 of the new novel Stonecraft, now available on Amazon.com. Her book is a part of a web-hosting program at the homesite of 作者 Fletcher Rhoden (fletcherrhoden.com/links) where there is contact information and a discount code and link. In the interests of full disclosure, my own book 查看 of a Progressive Christian is also on the site.

Q: This is your first book, Jenni. What made 你 want to write, and why this story?
A: Well, I’ve always been a reader, read just about anything I could find. I guess...

LOS ANGELES - Stephen King’s opinion may drive a stake through the 心 of “Twilight” 作者 Stephenie Meyer.

In an interview with USA Weekend, the bestselling 作者 compared Meyer with J.K. Rowling, the 作者 of the Harry Potter series.

According to Stephen, “Both Rowling and Meyer, they’re speaking directly to young people… The real difference is that Jo Rowling is a terrific writer and Stephenie Meyer can’t write worth a darn. She’s not very good.”

Meeooww!

While Stephen may not be a 粉丝 of Stephenie’s writing, he understands the appeal of the series.

When she walked into the dull room i did not notice at first. But suddenly a gush of wind blew her sweet and beutiful scent tingling down my throat. Never had i felt such pain and anguish yet the thrill of a new adventure. She clumsily walked over to the 座位 opposite me and offered a big smile. This was when i could have killed her, this innocent girl looking at me through the locks of her deep brown hair. Her eyes looked deeply and yet shallowly into mine. This was the moment when i knew i could not ravish her. This was the moment i started to fall in love. The mystery of Love.
