Touched and touching
In saying that, Spirk still holds the record for best fanfics imo. With other / I've read they tend to be focused 更多 on tension and the idea that what they're doing is wrong and shameful, but no matter how many Spirk fics I read they're always sexy, funny and completely sweet and romantic, of course they sometimes have some tension going on like any interesting story but it doesn't feel like it's the male intimacy that's "wrong and shameful", it's either that they're having an affair 或者 that they're both officers on the same starship, Issues along those lines.
Just the other night I was 阅读 a fanfic. It was funny and sexy but it ended on a sweet note with the 爱人 embraced in each other's arms. Whereas I've read fanfics of Elle/Claire from 超能英雄 或者 Faith/Buffy from BTVS and it's all about hiding the relationship out of shame because if people knew then there wouldn't be any reason for the relationship to carry on.
Don't get me wrong I've read these fanfics and enjoyed them but Spirk isn't about the pain 或者 the shame making it worth the risk (most of the time). To me as well as being sensual, Spirk fanfics tend to be 更多 about romance and two people being in 爱情 and accepted 由 everyone around them. It doesn't matter that they're both male, there's no shame in it.
There are so many different Spirk fanfics out there about the everyday things couples do like getting gifts for each other, complaining about work and going 首页 to find a familiar and loving face to welcome them.
Spirk sets the highest standard in fanfiction because those who write these stories incorporate romance, love, and even comedy into their stories as well as sexual inuendo, but it doesn't feel like the sex is the main part of the story, it's the relationship between Kirk and Spock, and sex is just the icing on 最佳, 返回页首 of the cake.
Anyway, enough rambling. My point is simply that Spirk fanfiction rules! I think that all my points above may contradict each other, but oh well.
Spirk isn't based purely on sex and how it being wrong makes it 更多 fun, it's about a relationship between two soulmates - T'hyla - and the 爱情 expressed between the two of them and the acceptance that they recieve 由 their loved ones too!
