I think it'd be wierd. I mean, it's a story about one horse, but his struggle depicts the general struggle of all wild 马 to survive in the west. The movie gave enough narration for us to understand what's going on, but they kept it natural-we're humans, so we understand what the humans say-but we have to read the 动物 based on what they are doing. I like it that way and it would seem too fake and odd if they up and started talking. But that's just my opinion.
