I remember visiting this website once...
It was called Sophie Turner Shuts Down a Littlefinger 粉丝 on Twitter to Defend Sansa Stark
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
After seven seasons of lurking in the shadows and worming his way into House Stark, Littlefinger finally got what was coming to him when Arya slit his throat on Sunday’s Season 7 finale of
. A skilled and strategic manipulator, Lord Baelish even tried to win Sansa over through to the bitter end, but it wasn’t enough to save him from Arya and his own Valyrian steel dagger.
While many were probably at home cheering when he finally fell to his death on the stone floor of Winterfell, others argue Littlefinger was a complex character who deserved more than what he was given.
Littlefinger was a shifty character, to say the least, and many believed he deserved to die for a number of reasons: he conspired against Ned Stark, creepily chased after Catelyn Stark and then her daughter Sansa, killed her aunt Lysa Arryn, left Sansa to fend for herself with the Boltons, and switched allegiances whenever convenient. But as fans shared their thoughts on Twitter after the finale, some actually came to Baelish\'s defense, and Sophie Turner, who plays Sansa Stark in the HBO series, took notice.
Twitter user Hanna Loren thought Littlefinger\'s execution was unjustified. “He wanted justice on the society for his humiliation, they looked down on him out of his poor background. He never hurt Sansa,” she wrote.
Turner, however, seemed to think Loren was tricked into falling under Littlefinger’s manipulative spell, as she seemed to overlook some key moments in the show:
Nah.. just willingly sold her to the Boltons.... Who killed her family... who ended up torturing her.... but ur right.. no harm done 👍
Because Sansa asked him to (and agreed because he loves her).... because he owed her.... for selling her to the boltons.... need I say more?
Somehow, “saving” Sansa after leaving her to be tortured by the Boltons just didn’t rack up enough good guy points for Littlefinger in Turner\'s book. Passionately defending her character, she reminded her Twitter followers that Sansa has been through more than people seem to give her credit for and that it’s easy to fall for the deceitful ways of men like Lord Baelish.
Even though Littlefinger will not be missed on the show, the same can\'t be said for Sophie\'s co-star Aidan Gillen, who played Lord Baelish for the last seven seasons.
cast is just as passionate about the show as their fans are, especially when it comes to their own characters. So be careful what you say about the Starks on social media, because Arya Stark just might just come for you next.
