In Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and its expansion Sonic & Knuckles, both released in 1994 for the Sega Mega Drive, Sonic and Tails landed on 天使 Island. Shortly after their arrival, Sonic, at that moment in his super form, was ambushed 由 Knuckles the Echidna, somehow forcing the hedgehog out of his form.
