Sia Furler Institute for Contemporary 音乐 and Media 

Welcome to the Sia Furler Institute for Contemporary Music and Media.

The Sia Furler Institute at the University of Adelaide provides an environment in which contemporary music and media teaching and practice can flourish.

Officially launched on 31 March 2016 by the Premier of South Australia, The Hon. Jay Weatherill, the aim of the Institute is to prepare students for careers in contemporary music performance and composition, film, digital and other new media, sound engineering and music technologies.

The Department of Media equips graduates with the necessary skills for understanding all forms of media in the digital age: from TV, radio, film and print, to web and mobile-enabled media.
