Teen singer Selena Gomez has asked the media to leave her alone as she doesn't want to talk about her private life.

The 迪士尼 星, 星级 is rumoured to have dated Nick Jonas and Taylor Lautner in the past but 说 she wants people to focus on her 表演 rather than her private life.

She 说 to UK's 你 magazine: 'My ideal would be not to be known for whom I'm dating, because eventually that's all 你 will be known for.

'It's hard, because people are curious about who's in my life, but I want to be known for my work. And I never want to view myself as any different 或者 any better than anyone else.'

Gomez added: 'If I wanna go eat at a little restaurant that isn't fancy, I'll do it. If I wanna go out without make-up and not care what I look like, I will.'
