There was a lot of controversy about the 粉, 粉色 马 in Sel's upcoming video.
"When Selena was presented the idea for the video, no one informed her the 马 would be painted and she had assumed they would be colored in post-production [via special effects]," a production insider told !E. "When she showed up to the set she was very surprised to see them painted."
And then of course, as some of 你 might remember, 粉, 粉色 tweeted her outrage about the horses:
"If there are any animal activists around Malibu-at Leo Cabrillo State Beach, there are 马 being painted for a stupid 音乐 video," the PETA supporter tweeted. "Artists should be 更多 aware and responsible for their actions."
While PETA spokesman Dan Mathews insists "there are no 安全 ways to paint a live horse 或者 any animal," Sel's camp reps put out a statement assuring that "no 动物 were harmed and all proper precautions were taken. A nontoxic, vegetable-based powder paint was applied via an airbrush and removed with water. An official from the Humane Society was on set supervising."
But it looks like that was not enough to put out the fire. "Love 你 Like a 爱情 Song," Sel's new song and video which was to feature the ponies, will not feature them in the end. The color-enhanced 动物 will no longer be featured in the clip's final cut.
The "Love 你 Like a 爱情 Song" video along with an exclusive interview with the singer will debut on E! News June 22.
Wizards Of Waverly Place 星, 星级 Jake T. Austin was involved in a hit-and-run Tuesday morning!
According to reports, a 2010 奥迪 registered to Jake struck three parked cars around 3 AM in Sherman Oaks, CA, causing MAJOR damage.
Witnesses say that before police could arrive, the driver and multiple passengers bailed, threw out a Ciroc bottle, and got a car to pick them up and take them the heck out of there!
Were they trying to avoid a DUI? Was Selena's 迪士尼 channel bro even driving?
Police can't yet say for sure. Without the driver of the car on scene, they're just treating the accident as a hit-and-run-- for now!
We sincerely hope leaving the scene was the ONLY reckless decision Jake and his 老友记 made, but we're not holding our breathalyzer.
