On the red carpet before the show, Scotty said. "If someone told me (a 年 ago) I'd have been here, I would have told them they were crazy."
"I've been walking down the carpet, seeing the artists, seeing people I've grown up listening to. It's really cool for me. It wasn't a 年 ago, I was an average Joe. American Idol has changed my life. This is insane."
With the likely boost in sales for the Clear as 日 album after Wednesday's performance Scotty's probably only a week 或者 two away from seeing his debut album go gold. "We're hoping to shoot for there," he says. "It's been cool to see the response the 粉丝 have 给 me."

Not only did the 'American Idol' winner 加入 the tour's opening acts to sing "Alcohol" during the show's close, but the country singers also found themelves in a pranking battle - which they dished on via their Twitter accounts.
