Max Evans, a boy she knows, came over and mysteriously healed her, but dumped ketchup over her to make it look like he did not attempt to help-- 或者 they'd figure out his deep dark secret...
Liz looks at herself in the mirror at home, and sticks a hole through her 衬衫 with her finger (shirt is ketchup stained.) And it looks like a bullet hole.
And then, she realizes her 爱情 for him. Blah blah blah some stuff goes on and her real boyfriend sees Max's glowing handprint on her torso- from Max's healing.
Her boyfriend tells his father, a sherrif of Roswell, New Mexico.
That night, Liz meets Max in the restuaraunt and he explains to her that he is from up above not up north, up in outer space.
He touches her face and she sees when they were children in love, flashbacks.
One they were walking naked holding hands down the road, and a car is behind them and they realize they are in trouble.
Two, Max sees her playing with her 老友记 during recess, longing for her after she breaks from his hand off the schoolbus.
They go to an alien crash party and then it is to be continued in episode two!
