The house was completely empty, just a skeleton.

The 圣诞节树 was in the corner of what would be your family room.

You and Ponyboy had just bought a house together, and were pretty much broke. 你 hadn’t gotten furniture 或者 anything. Just you, 你 boyfriend, some blankets and pillows, and the 圣诞节树 in the corner.
