I F
Rudyard
Kipling
If 你 can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If 你 can trust yourself when all men doubt you
But make allowance for their doubting too,
If 你 can wait and not be tired 由 waiting,
或者 being lied about, don't deal in lies,
或者 being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:
If 你 can dream--and not make dreams your master,
If 你 can think--and not make thoughts your aim;
If 你 can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If 你 can 熊 to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted 由 knaves to make a trap for fools,
或者 watch the things 你 gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools:
If 你 can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it all on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breath a word about your loss;
If 你 can force your 心 and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: "Hold on!"
If 你 can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
或者 walk with kings--nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving 老友记 can hurt you;
If all men count with you, but none too much,
If 你 can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And--which is more--you'll be a Man, my son!

Take this 吻乐队(Kiss) upon the brow !
And, in parting from 你 now,
Thus much let me avow
你 are not wrong, who deem
That my days have been a dream,
Yet if hope has flown away
In a night, 或者 in a day,
In a vision, 或者 in none,
Is it therefore the less gone ?
All that we see 或者 seem
Is but a dream within a dream.
I stand amid the roar
Of a surf-tormented shore,
And I hold within my hand
Grains of the golden sand
How few ! yet how they creep
Through my fingers to the deep,
While I weep while I weep!
O God ! can I not grasp
Them with a tighter clasp ?
O God ! can I not save
One from the pitiless wave ?
Is all that we see 或者 seem
But a dream within a dream ?
true 老友记 are hard to come by...
yet when 你 catch them 你 feel like 你 can fly...
你 trust them,
爱情 them,
and talk of future...
你 know that they will never lie...
and 下一个 to them 你 stand side 由 side...
你 爱情 them,
hug them,
and share smiles with eachother...
oh how it feels when 你 know your important...
that 你 know 你 have some one to comfort you...
你 hold their hand,
skip down the street,
and feel no defeat...
true 老友记 are hard to come by...
but hold them tight so away they dont fly.

One night I dreamed I was wlking along the 海滩 with the Lord. Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky. In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand. Sometimes there where two sets of footprints, other times there were only one set of footprints. This was bothered me because I noticed that during the low periods of my life, when I was suffering from anguish, sorrow 或者 defeat, I could see only one set of footprints. So I 说 to the Lord, "You promised me Lord, that if I followed you, 你 would walk with me always. But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life ther had only been one set of footprints in the sand. Why, when I needed 你 most, 你 have not been there for me?" The Lord replied, "The times when 你 have seen only one set of footprints in the sand, is when I carried you.

From childhood's 小时 I have not been
As others were; I have not seen
As others saw; I could not bring
My passions from a common spring.
From the same 来源 I have not taken
My sorrow; I could not awaken
My 心 to joy at the same tone;
And all I loved, I loved alone.
Then- in my childhood, in the dawn
Of a most stormy life- was drawn
From every depth of good and ill
The mystery which binds me still:
From the torrent, 或者 the fountain,
From the red cliff of the mountain,
From the sun that round me rolled
In its autumn tint of gold,
From the lightning in the sky
As it passed me flying by,
From the thunder and the storm,
And the 云, 云计算 that took the form
(When the rest of Heaven was blue)
Of a demon in my view.
"What of the dews of dawn,
Love's flower, what end is theirs ?"
"And what of spirits flown,
The souls whereon doth close
The tomb's mouth unawares ?"
The Rose 说 to the Grave.
The Rose said, "In the shade
From the dawn's tears is made
A perfume faint and strange,
Amber and honey sweet."
"And all the spirits fleet
Do suffer a sky-change,
更多 strangely than the dew,
To God's own 天使 new,"
The Grave 说 to the Rose.
