i don't get the smurf thing?

I don't get it either, but then again, people don't get why I run around with a cat hat. So I guess we're even. :p

I don't really have an opinion to smurfs. Never thought about it.

I don't like them (I think because of a song that I found annoying in the cartoon), but there's probably a few in the attic still. My oldest daughter used to really love watching them, and collecting them. I won't judge someone if they like them though... everybody has their own taste.
As for a lot of people not getting them, that was more than five grandchildren ago when she used to watch them, so you might not be old enough. I don't know if they ever did reruns anywhere.

When I was younger I loved the show..although sometimes it was a bit to 'happy' for me.
