I stepped out of the elevator into the lobby, and pushed myself through a crowd of tourists. I stepped into the chilly New York air and got a taxi. It pays to have mind powers. The driver drove up to the curb and the passenger walked out with her bags.
I sat inside. "Washington D.C. and step on it!" I yelled to the driver. He nodded his head and started driving way above the speed limit. He drove onto sidewalks and through red lightts and stop signs.
We got onto the highway in ten 分钟 being chased 由 four police vehicles. I lowered the window and stuck my head out the window. "Freeze." I mumbled. I smiled. "Hey, Could I please have a ham sandwhich on sourdough bread?" She quickly made the sandwhich and handed it over. "Thank you." I said
"Wait, aren't 你 gonna pay?" Grace asked.
"Don't have to." I said, using mind powers.
"Uh, heh, yeah 你 do!" She 说 grabbing my shoulder and turning me around.
"Okay, okay." I 说 slightly impressed. No one could resist my mind powers, let alone have the guts to pull me back like that. I handed her a golden drachma. She held in her hands, her mouth wide open. "Um, I don't think I have change for this." She 说 in amazement.
"Oh know, 你 keep the change. In fact," I 说 while reaching into my pocket and pulling out another drachma. "Here's another just for you." I 说 while handing her another while smiling. She smiled warmly. "Uh, heh thank you."
"No prob." I 说 while walking away, eating my sandwich. She's gonna get herself into college with that. I smiled.
I continued searching for the target. I got a water bottle for free, for the big event. I'll need two of them. While scanning the faces of the people around me, I saw them. They were walking to a wooded area, very quickly. The satyr wore her green beret, and wore a purple 衬衫 with her faded blue jeans. The demi-god wore a brown 衬衫 with a skull on the front, and wore black jeans like mine. He had large black leather boots. I put my dark 兜帽, 罩, 发动机罩 on and approached them.
Me and James were walking to the forest, because he couldn't shake the feeling of being followed. "C'mon Sarah, hurry up!" James 说 while walking faster. "I'm coming." I 说 now almost jogging. My panpipes almost fell out of my beret. We were almost to the trees when James looked back and froze. His diamond stud earing reflected the light into my left eye and blinded me for a 秒 before I saw the hooded figure coming toward's us. "James," I 说 while pulling out my panpipes. "Get into the trees. Now!" I 说 now ready to fight. James hesitated and looked again at the tall dark figure coming closer. After two 秒 he ran to the woods. He would be safe. I turned to my attacker who had stopped walking and we stared each other down.
I looked at the satyr with her panpipes in her hands. They were moved closer to her lips. I formed my sword quicker than ever before, and she started playing a tune that sounded a lot like 'Toxic' 由 Brittney Spears. I rushed toward's her and a vine of poison ivy popped out of the ground and 魔发奇缘 on my ankle. I cut it before it could snake up my leg 或者 pull me down. After the dead vine fell off me 更多 vines popped out of the ground and trees grew around the satyr protecting her from my sword. I sliced another vine as it wrapped around my waist cutting myself in the process. The song was blown faster, and 更多 vines shot out of the ground. They wrapped around me and threw my sword out of my hand. The vines got me on the ground and started encasing me in a cocoon of leaves. I tried to have my sword slice through the vines but they kept growing around me. In less than five 秒 there was no light in my cocoon and it was hard to breathe. My sword fell on the ground and the 音乐 stopped. I slowly started to lose conscience.
I stopped blowing and the trees around me went back into the ground. I saw that the web of vines around my attacker were still moving but the movement became shorter and shorter. "Hmph, that wasn't very hard."
I was running out of air when I heard, "Hmph, that wasn't very hard." the girl said. I'm sure my face reddened with indignity. I thought cold thoughts, very cold. Everything around me became brighter until, all the vines around me were frozen. I could see the stunned look on the satyr's face. I smirked as the ice shattered around me. I quickly got up. The satyr tried to blow another tune. "Snap!" I yelled while snapping my fingers. She dropped her panpipes and got a creepy grin on her face. "Hey," she ran up to me and gave me a hug. "You know what? Bbbbslsncuamucnfixnsjglrnzufhsifnfuemfidjdcjdje!!!" she 说 while laughing hysterically. She ran around the 草 doing cartwheels and doing the worm and spewing other nonsense. Her 贝雷帽 fell of and I saw that her horns were stubby. Guilt flowed over me. I can't believer I made a young satyr go insane for the rest of this life. As she rolled around in the 草 like a dog. I formed my sword and stabbed her. Her hysterical smile turned to a normal smile and she faded and turned into a sunflower. I smiled. I made it grow big and tall. It's bud's were the size of your head. I put my sword into my bottle and walked toward's the woods. This won't take long. I thought.
