The big night finally arrived. Les and Jimmy were going to be doing their first 演出, gig in front of an audience. As they were preparing backstage, Jimmy asked, "Are 你 nervous, Les?" Les said, "Maybe a little." Jimmy said, "I'm sure you'll be fine. Don't worry about what your dad said, all right?" Les said, "All right." Meanwhile, a boy about their age was attempting to enter the club. He was very dreamy. A lot of girls liked him, but sometimes his young face made it hard for people to take him seriously. The security guard said, "You have to be eighteen to enter this club. Do 你 have an ID, son?" He reached into his pockets and said, "I thought I had it. I can promise 你 I'm eighteen." The security guard said, "You look awful young." Just then, another boy, who appeared to be older came to his rescue and said, "It's okay, sir. He's with me." He then showed his ID. The security guard let them in. The dreamy boy said, "Thanks. My names Charles, 由 the way." The other boy said, "I'm Felix. You're into rock and roll?" Charles said, "I sure am. I play guitar. Do 你 play any instruments?" Felix said, "I play bass." Soon, Les and Jimmy's 显示 started. They put on a stunning performance. In between songs, Jimmy made some jokes. The audience laughed and cheered. After the performance was over, Charles 说 to Felix, "I think they could use another guitarist and a bassist." Felix nodded in agreement. Charles said, "I know! We should go talk to them." He then went to one of the club's employees and said, "Excuse me. Do 你 know where Les and Jimmy went?" The employee said, "They left to go for a walk on the beach. I'm sure if 你 go now, 你 can catch them." Charles and Felix went to the beach. Sure enough, Les and Jimmy were taking a walk, talking about their performance. Felix said, "Let's go talk to them."
When Greeley's birthday finally arrived, Leila went to Greeley's house. When she knocked on the door, Greeley answered. He said, "Hi, Leila." She said, "Hi, Greeley. Happy eighteenth birthday." She then handed him a card. He said, "Thank you." When he opened the card, the 音乐会 tickets fell out. He said, "You got me 音乐会 tickets!" She said, "Yes, and not just any 音乐会 tickets. I got tickets to see New Religion. They're having an outdoor 音乐会 this evening." He said, "That's bloody amazing. Thank you, Leila." He hugged her. She said, "You're welcome, Greeley." After dinner, they had some cake. Greeley said, "This is the best birthday I've ever had." Leila said, "It's not over yet." He said, "You're right. We have a New Religion 音乐会 to go to." She said, "That's right. We better go if we want to get good parking." He said, "Right." The two 老友记 got into Greeley's car and headed to the concert.
Shortly after the incident, the members of The Devil Wants Peace were interviewed. The interviewer asked, "John, is it true that 你 overcame your fear of water before 你 saved Allen?" John replied, "It's true." The interviewer asked, "Is it true that the rest of 你 were surprised when John swam so quickly?" Stan said, "Yes. I knew that his girlfriend, Caryn, taught him how to swim, but I didn't know she taught him to swim so well." Peter said, "I was impressed at how 《勇敢传说》 he was, too." Allen said, "Yeah. I'll never forget what he did for me." John said, "Thank Caryn. She's the one who taught me how to swim." Caryn saw the interview on the news, and she was very touched. Later, John 说 to Caryn, "Thank 你 for everything 你 did for me this summer." She said, "You're welcome." He said, "Your 爱情 for me is what motivated 你 to help me, and in the end, I was able to help my mates. 爱情 conquers fear. I truly believe that."

During the 4th of July celebration in Oak Ridge, the members of New Religion decided to take Klondike out with them to get him used to noise and crowds. Lots of people stopped them and asked to pet Klondike. He was very happy getting petted. One person said, "He's a beautiful dog. What kind of dog is he?" Erin said, "He is a 交叉, 十字架 between a German Shepherd and a Siberian Husky." Another person asked, "How old is he?" Paul replied, "He will be three months old later this month." Klondike enjoyed all the attention he was getting. He didn't seem to mind the noises during the parade. That night, he wasn't even bothered 由 the fireworks. Carl said, "I think he's mascot material. He doesn't have a problem with crowds 或者 noises." Lola said, "Yeah. He will do well when he starts touring with us." The members of New Religion knew that they got the perfect dog to be their new mascot when Fritz retires. Klondike will have big shoes to fill, but he'll certainly fill them.
