Hello, everyone. Antonia here, and I decided to do a blog on 问题 I'm frequently asked about being asexual. As I mentioned in the Introduction Blog, I am asexual. I first discovered that when I was fourteen. I was bullied in school because of it. If you're not sure what asexual is, this should educate you, (I hope). Here it goes.
1. Q: If you're asexual, does that mean 你 don't date?
A: No. All asexual means is that you're not sexually attracted to anyone. Romance is totally different. Some asexuals are aromantic, but some of them are romantic. Romantically speaking, I could go either way, but I prefer males.
2. Q: Are 你 an alien?
A: No, I am not an alien. If 你 want to see aliens, watch a sci-fi film.
3. Q: Since you're not dating someone, are 你 lonely?
A: No, I'm not lonely. I have friends. Friendship can be just as rewarding as romance, if not more. Honestly, the only reason I haven't dated is I'm afraid of getting hurt. I've had good 老友记 who have been hurt in romance, and I know it could very easily happen to me.
4. Q: How do 你 know you're asexual?
A: 你 just know. That's really difficult to answer. There are different types of asexuals out there, and in the end, 你 know how 你 feel. Don't listen to anyone who tells 你 otherwise.
5. Q: Do 你 think you'll change your mind when the "right person" comes along?
A: No, I won't change my mind. Asexuality is a sexual orientation, not a choice. Besides, the "right person" would understand my needs and desires.
6. Q: If you're asexual, does that mean you're repulsed 由 sex/the idea of it?
A: No. Sexual orientation and sexual desire are actually two different things. I am repulsed 由 the idea of sex, but I don't reject it entirely.
7. Q: Are 你 asexual for religious purposes?
A: No, I'm not even religious. I'm spiritual, though. Asexuality is not celibacy. Celibacy is a choice. Asexuality is not a choice.
8. Q: What is the worst part about being asexual?
A: Probably the ridicule I've faced for it.
9. Q: What is the best part about being asexual?
A: I'm not sure. I guess the fact that it makes 你 an individual.
10. Q: Does it annoy 你 when people misconstrue your being asexual?
A: Yes.
I hope 你 enjoyed this blog. There are 更多 blogs to come.
Peace and love,

It was close to Christmas. The members of New Religion decided to go spend time was their families. Sadly, Erin's grandmother passed away. It was devastating for Erin. When New Religion picked up their tour, many people wanted to interview Erin. Lola said, "She 迷失 a loved one. How do 你 think she's doing?!" Carl said, "Erin needs time to mourn her grandmother. She doesn't need a microphone in her face." Paul said, "She's been through so much. Leave her alone!" Erin thanked her 老友记 for standing up for her. She later said, "I now know how Paul McCartney felt after John Lennon got shot." Lola hugged her. Things did get better for Erin with time. She 迷失 so many she loved, but she kept going and never gave up.
No Stable Place
Aside from Uncle Bob, the only other family members who paid me any mind were my grandparents. My grandfather passed away about a 年 and a half after my father's untimely death. My grandmother lived until I started high school. When she was alive, I could always go to her with a problem. Every time I would have a bad 日 at school, I would go to her. She would say, "Tell me what's wrong, John." I would tell her what was wrong, and she would make everything better. When she passed away when I started high school, I was devastated. Now I had no one to go to when I had a bad day. That's when my record listening became 更多 frequent. Other than my dog, Beatle, it was my only 来源 of comfort. I really missed having a person to talk to. I missed having someone who listened to me. When he wasn't working, I could call Uncle Bob and talk to him, but it wasn't the same. Grandma seemed to have an answer for everything. Nobody else seemed to have that gift.
