Why is sarah played 由 lauren graham?

In the original 照片 and 破烂, 垃圾 sarah is played 由 someone else. What happened?

Originally Maura Tierney was going to play Sarah but she got cancer and pulled out of playing Sarah, so NBC then choose Lauren Graham to play Sarah. In my opinion I can't get the idea of Lauren being Lorelai out of my head.

I was a little like wtf when I saw Lauren Graham as Sarah, but then Irealised, that she's great. She's like Lorelai whose life went worse and less successful, but she's still a fighter. I like the way she acts.
