I think their season 1 split was WAY sadder. Watching Peyton start to cry as she walked away just broke my heart. The season 5 one was obviously hard to watch. But to me, it was more just... annoying, rather than sad. I wanted to jump through the TV screen and strangle Lucas for being such a dumbass, totally misunderstanding what Peyton was saying, and then... leaving.

^Ya, but I saw the season 1 breakup comming. I knew Peyton wasn't going to continue the relationship because of Brooke. Season 5 breakup was heartbreaking! Espeacially when Lucas got up and left while Peyton was sleeping!

I honestly don't really see S1 has a "break-up" seeing as they never really got a chance to start an actual relationship. Although, it seriously was heartbreaking to watch, I just thought S5 was an actual "LP-breakup" and it was extremely sad!

OMG I cried some much in both scenes. But after seeing LINDSEY in S5 I kept wondering how this monster came into my life, and in 5x05 I got the answer. I was heartbroken </3
