Mickie’s P.O.V:

2 weeks later….

Here I am, backstage, waiting for my court case to begin. Yes, Greg stayed true to his word and was now fighting against my sisters for custody of me.
The decision was simple for me of course, but it wasn’t up to me unfortunately.
Look at it this way: if my sisters’ get granted custody of me, I 移动 to America and never see niall again. But if Greg wins, I get to live with him and niall. I wouldn’t want to be a burden though.

Greg’s P.O.V:


“Greg why are 你 doing this?” Niall asked me.
“Because I 爱情 that poor girl niall. She is so polite and happy to everyone and doesn’t deserve what’s being done to her AT ALL.” I replied.

A smiled graced on niall’s lips as we walked into the court room.


We sat opposite Mickie sisters, who all looked quite smug.
If neither me nor her sisters prove worthy of taking care of Mickie, she will have to go into care.


Mickie’s P.O.V:


I wasn’t allowed to go into the court room, I had to stay backstage and watch it from a big screen. The judge entered the room.
“SILENCE! The case is about to begin!” the judge announced. Silence filled the room as the door opened.

Stood right before my very eyes, was Harry, Kate, Amanda, Louis and Liam. I was so happy to see them.

I couldn't help but notice zayn’s absence though. Niall told me that he isn't talking to anyone and even dumped Amanda. I feel so bad.
Them being there gave me a big boost and I actually thought I might have a chance at this.


“Here yee, here eye. We will now begin the hearing for the case of Greg horan versus Melissa, Claire, Tanya, Emma and Andrea rosemary, fighting for the custody of Ms. Mickie Leanne Rosemary. All rise.” The judge commanded.


Everyone got to their feet but when I did, I was pushed back down and I winced in pain as my sisters had 给 me quite a bad beating last night.

I had bruises and cuts all over my body so I had to put make-up on my face and I had to wear my Abercrombie hoodie and skinny jeans with converse, even though it was summer and roasting out today.

“You can stay sitting miss.” The police officer smiled. I nodded.


The case began and Greg was up first to be interviewed.
“What relation are 你 to Mickie, Greg?”
“Um… no relation. I’m her boyfriend’s brother.”
“Interesting….. And how long have 你 known Mickie?”
“About 6 months.”
“And 你 feel like 你 know her enough to take care of her?”
“Yes, yes I do.”
“And why do 你 want to have custody of her?”
“Because what she has to go through every 日 of her life is just wrong.”
“What does she go through?”
“Her sisters make her clean the whole house and care for their every whim. If she doesn’t they beat her.”
“Do 你 have any evidence of her sisters beating her?”
“No but-”
“I rest my case.”


Greg sighed and sat down. 下一个 up was Melissa. Great.


“Melissa, as the eldest of the family, do 你 and Mickie have a bond?”
“Yes. And a very strong one at that.”
“What do 你 and Mickie do together?”
“We go shopping, we do our daily chores, and we paint each other’s nails…”
“You mentioned chores, is it true that Mickie clears the whole house?”
“No not at all! We all do our equal amount of chores.”
“I see. And does Mickie listen to 你 and the rest of your sisters?”
“Yes, but she has 迷失 our moments. I guess everyone would expect that from a teenage girl though, right?”
“We sure do. And when did Greg come in?”
“He was dating my sister Andrea, until he rudely dumped her out of the blue.”
“I see. Can we please have Andrea?”


Melissa nodded and jumped off the seat. Andrea sat down and took a deep breath.


“Hello Andrea. Can 你 please tell us about 你 and Greg?”
“Me and Greg had been dating for a couple of months. Everything was going great until he dumped me for no reason at all.”
“So he just dumped you?”
“Yep.”
“Why do 你 think Greg wants custody of Mickie?”
“I don't know. He probably knows Mickie is the closest person in the world to me and wants to take her away from me.”
“You and your sisters are planning on moving to America, aren’t you?”
“Yes.”
“And why is that?”
“Just for a fresh start.”
“And do 你 think Mickie wants to move?”
“I’m sure she’s very excited.”
“That’s great. Andrea that’s all we need to know.”
“Okey dokey!”


She took her original place. Lastly was niall.
