The first real 神奇宝贝 RPG that wasn't on a handheld came as a bit of a shock. What was even stranger however were the new Shadow Pokémon, 神奇宝贝 with corrupted hearts (Heartless anyone?) which along with your new companion 你 must rescue in order to restore their hearts. In the Pokemon anime, some people disliked May and Dawn because none of them was Misty, while some disliked Dawn because she replaced May and/or Misty.
