First off, dramatic much? "I'd catch a Grenade for ya?". I just found this kind of funny, since this guy is what, probably like twenty-something? I'm doubting that he's been in a lot of relationships, much less ever truly been in love. He also seems like one of those mainstream artists that purchase their lyrics, which only makes their ridiculousness even funnier.

Someone needs to tell this guy that just because he likes a girl doesn't mean she has to like 或者爱情 him back. Just because you're madly in 爱情 doesn't mean 你 can force someone to 爱情 you. Besides, whoever this song is for, if anyone probably dumped him for being over dramatic, "I'd catch a Grenade for ya", which also implies a bit of obsessiveness.

To be honest, this sounds like the sort of thing (from what I've heard), that guys say when they're trying to get girls to sleep with them. "Oh I 爱情你 so much, 你 know I'd do anything for you", blah blah blah. So basically this guy is going all drama king over some girl who doesn't 爱情 him and possibly won't sleep with him, "Yes I would die for 你 baby". Doesn't it seem like a bit much? Also, just because 你 think you'd die for someone definitely doesn't mean they're going to do the same, though personally if I was the girl who this guy was 写作 about, I'd be "dying" to get away from him.

Next, "Tell the devil I said, hey, when 你 get back to where you're from". First off, that's just plain rude. If you're trying to get the girl to like 你 back, accusing her of being from hell doesn't seem like such a great way to do it. If a guy 说 that to me, I'd kick his sorry ass. So this guys is assuming that because she doesn't 爱情 him back, she's from hell, cavorting with the devil, and obviously a bad person! 由 extension and definition, that kind of means that he'd think the same of anyone else who didn't like 或者爱情 him. So because I'm not a 粉丝 of this guy, and I definitely don't 爱情 him, that must mean that I'm from hell as well, right? Not true. Not only am I an atheist, but I highly doubt that every person on earth who doesn't 爱情 this guy 或者 his 音乐 is a bad person.

"If my body was on fire/Ooh, you'd watch me burn down in flames". First, I'm not even going to bother pointing out that the "Ooh" does not fit in with this lyric, seeing as being burned to death is really nothing to "Ooh" excitedly over, unless of course you're a masochistic sadist. Next, that's just plain ridiculous. Unless you're someone like Hitler, if 你 see someone burning, dying 或者 being killed in some other way, odds are, you'd be horrified, and potentially try to do something about it. Most people wouldn't just stand there in silence, 或者 watch excitedly. Of course, this is the same girl he's assuming is from hell since she wouldn't sleep with him, so who knows?

Please note that I don't know what the 作者 of this songs intention was, this was just the way I interpreted it based on hearing it on the radio a few times.

cassie-1-2-3 The song is not about some girl who doesn't like him. It's expressing his conflicting feelings toward a woman who pretended to love him. She used and took advantage of him. He did everything he could for her and she tossed him to the side without a second thought. He really hates that she did that, and it was kind of evil, and I think he was in the right to say she belongs in Hell, but despite all that, he doesn't hate her. His catching a grenade shouldn't be taken litterally. Many songs lyrics are symbolic. It represents sacrifice. The music video makes this more obvious. In the video, he's seen dragging a piano uphill. It's much like Jesus dragging the giant cross uphill for those who have sinned.

MyronPwnsBella This song could fit well for the wolves and imprintees that haven't loved back. And since I'm one of the co-makers of the storyline, The Dark Enemy Tales of Lauren Mallory, I was definitely thinking that this song would fit Tristan Gurney and how he imprinted on Lauren, who doesn't love him back.

KateKicksAss ^I did. I've heard it a million times on the radio. As I've said, I drew this conclusion after hearing the song A LOT. I don't pretend I know what the intention or point was, and haven't seen the video either, I just drew this conclusion from the lyrics alone. This is just my interpretation, you don't have to agree with me.

Darkshine I love this. It's more fun than the analysis of Bieber lyrics I found on some site.

awesome1qr9 if you have seen the video and lyrics close enough, than you would know better. when he is talking about them kissing, but her eyes were 'wide open'. that shows that he already had romantic relations with her to do that. They also show in the video that the girl is cheating on him. so dont talk about how the girl doesnt have to love him back.
