Craig is a DIY musician who writes and produces all her songs and 音乐 videos.
At the age of twelve, she performed the Whitney Houston hit song "I wanna dance with somebody" on the Norwegian youth TV 显示 "Midt I Smørøyet." Producers were so impressed that they hired her on the spot to host the show.
At age 15 she started 写作 her own songs, and at 17 she sang backing vocals for Noora Noor.
In 2000, Mira made headlines at "Quartfestivalen", a Norwegian 音乐 festival, when Wyclef Jean pulled her up on stage. American rap artist Snoop Dogg also took interest in her in 2005 at the same festival, and has since used one of her songs on his compilation, Welcome to tha Chuuch: Da Album.
On January 21st, 2006, Craig won the Newcomer of The 年 award at "Alarm-prisen," a Norwegian 音乐 awards show.
Mira Craig was nominated and won the Female of the Year in the Mann Magazine in Norway in their November issue. She was voted to number one 由 the magazines readers.
While opening for the Fugees in 2007, Craig had a hilarious accident. After attempting to stage dive, Craig fell down as there were no 粉丝 willing to catch her. Craig was then introduced to the unforgiving concrete. A 音乐会 attendee with a cell phone camera soon put the whole event on 流行的 video website link. In this video, the thud of Craig landing on the concrete is very audible as is the grunt Craig lets out as her wind was knocked out. In the weeks following the incident, radio shock jocks, Opie and Anthony had quite a laugh as they played the audio of Craig's fall. The pair along with comedy side kick Jim Norton got quite a laugh from the thud, and the painful "OOF!" sound Craig let out upon impact. She shattered her kneecap in the fall.
