‘A 星, 星级 is someone who doesn’t have to take her clothes off to be sexy because 你 naturally have 星, 星级 power,’ she told ELLE writer Janice Turner. ‘Sex does sell, but 你 have to find a way that’s not just 展示 your tits. I don’t want to be a glorified model. They just walk on stage and it’s all about their clothes – 或者 lack of clothes.’

So for us, meeting Miley was very much to do having her bring her own persona to some of the season’s most iconic pieces - those 由 the likes of Saint Laurent, Fendi, Emilio Pucci and Simone Rocha. She rocks 10 pages of them - shot 由 Jan Welters - in our new issue, out 1 May.
