My view on 爱情 is constantly changing between two states of mind, 爱情 is a lie & 爱情 is the best thing in the world.
View One: 爱情 is a lie. an illusion. designed so people can have something to hope for. Don't get me wrong the concept is great but I don't think it exists. If it does exist it causes 更多 sorrow than joy. The pain of 爱情 is worse than anything else, physical 或者 emotional. There is no 爱情 it is an illusion, there is lust & friendship but no love. Caring about someone does not mean that 你 "love" them.
View Two: 爱情 is the most amazing thing in the world. It makes 你 ecstatically happy & it's our entire purpose in life(ok maybe that's an exaggeration). It cures everything & helps you. It is everyone's dream & the best feeling in the world. The joy of 爱情 is stronger tahn any pain.
