But when they call 你 beautiful 或者 gorgeous, they're looking at you, all of you, not just your body 或者 anything, your inside and out, your personality, beauty, kindness to others. I'd say cute falls in the same category of pretty, he was looking at your face, and when he complimented your hair, and made the 摇摆, 秋千 get your faces closer together, he was definitely hinting.
