only because i feel like lucas deserved to be fought for in return, like he fought for her. i dont know who brooke thought she was, expecting something from him that she wasnt even willing to do herself..

Yes and no. I didn't want her to, so I was glad that she didn't.

But as you said, ^ I think he deserved to be fought for. I don't think he did a single thing that warranted Brooke saying that to him. He really didn't even do anything wrong at that time, much less something serious or bad enough to be told that he's not worth fighting for. Everyone is worth fighting for, especially if you supposedly love them. And Lucas deserves to have someone fight for him, just as much as Brooke or anyone else does. He may not be perfect... but neither is Brooke. She made more than her fair share of mistakes, and he still fought for her. And even continued to do so when she was being a complete brat to him.

I think this is one of BL's most defining scenes. It truly just speaks volumes about the type of relationship that they turned out to be, the difference of opinions/feelings between them, and where their priorities ultimately lied.

If Brooke really loved him as much as people claim she did at that time, and if she still wanted to be with him as people claim that she did... then she would/should have let Lucas' minor mistakes go, and fight for him, and for their relationship. But apparently she was too concerned with her pride to do that. Even though IMO, she was in no position to be acting all high and mighty, considering her actions and the (intentional!) mistakes that she made within the triangle. :/

I do understand that she was mad, but her attitude did annoy me. Actually, Brooke's attitude trough the whole 4th season pissed me off really. :p

I can actually understand her, she was hurt. She KNEW he would end up with Peyton again right after 3x22.

I wanted her to fight for him, but i knew she wouldn't because 1.) The direction the storyline was obviously headed.
2.) It seemed her pride got in the way. I think Brooke definitely still loved Lucas for quite a while after they broke up... I think one scene that always puts questions in my head is in 4x08, after they've talked on the porch & we see her sitting there flipping through pictures of them... I always felt like we were supposed to see that as her still caring about him/them, but knowing it just wasn't going to work.

She was mad duh!!! It was happening again! Who wants to fight for someone who you know is gonna keep hurting you! Leyton derserve each other

If she would have fought for him, Lucas and Peyton would had never been together
