Chapter Nine: Finally!!!!!
Kai's POV
What?! Return the fang blades we can do. But without them noticing? How would we do that? They probably already realized the blades were gone! I mean, the serpentine are stupid and all, but if I know pythor, he can spot a fake blade from a real one. Nonetheless we tried our best.
"just like last time. Mikey, the guys and I will ditract pythor and the serpentine. 你 just get the fang blades back. Do whatever it takes." Cole explained.
"got it!" Mikey said. We jumped off the bounty, landed and headed toward the tombs. We took the same route, did the same thing. We all fought a little sluggishly, but not enough to be beaten, and Mikey snuck to the back of the room.
I saw him remove his clay blades, and replace each one. He was in a hurry, so he just walked off. I guess he expected to walk out and give us the signal. But what he didn't expect was the constricti general sneaking up on him.
"where do 你 think your going with our fang blades?" he said.
"oh, these are, um, uh... Fakes!"Mikey 说 sheepishly.
The constricti general looked the fakes in Mikey's hands, and at the authentic fang blades in the holder.
"I think I can tell a real fang blade from a fake one," he said. Uh, no, ya can't!
He took the blades out of Mikey's hand and pulled him toward the exit. He led Mikey to the exit.
"now get lost! And don't go pokin' ya nose where it don't belong!" he said, shoving him into the tunnel.
Mikey just stood, a little stunned. But he snapped out of it, tool out a flashlight and turned it on and off a couple times, then ran. The signal. The rest of us retreated, catching up with a 迷失 Mikey and bringing him back to the bounty.
Danny's POV
It was an almost normal day. almost. Sensei Wu had decided to give the ninja the 日 off, and Kelcey was back to staring 粉丝 girlishly at Cole, Mikey was using the training course again. It looked like he was getting really obsessed with his scores. Kaitlyn was asking Zane a whole bunch of 问题 about his falcon. I just sat bored, watching Kai train, when speak of the devil, Zane's 鹘, 猎鹰 appeared overhead. He looked like he found something. He landed on Zane's arm and Kaitlyn freaked.
"AWW! He's so much 更多 adorable in person!!!!" she squealed. "I think he found something." she said. Boy, she sure loves that falcon.
Nya set course to follow the bird, and Kaitlyn continued annoying Zane with questions. Most of which she had already asked him before.
"WOAH!" I heard 松鸦, 杰伊, 杰伊 · yell. I looked his way, and there was Mikey. Only, he was doing Spinjitsu. He was capsulated in an 橙子, 橙色 tornado, spinning around the training course.
"THIS IS SO AWESOME!!!" he yelled. When he finally slowed down, everyone just stared.
"how did I do that?" he asked.
"interesting." 说 Sensei Wu, "it looks like 你 have the power of Spinjitsu inside you." he said. "the rest of you, too."
"Le Awesome!" Kaitlyn said.
"why don't 你 have a go at the course?" he said. "who's first?"
Kaitlyn's POV
I had just fallen to the ground for the 20th time, when the bounty landed. Sensei Wu had just told me and my cousins we had the power of spinjitsu, and I had just had another go in the training course. And again, I failed to even complete it.
We got out and followed the 鹘, 猎鹰 on foot. Gosh, it was so cute! I have an obsession with birds. Mostly the large birds of prey. The reason I 爱情 falcons most? Their colors, their grace and agility. And doesn't the name just sound so majestic? 'Falcon'. I 爱情 it! And I especially 爱情 Zane's falcon. It's so loyal and smart. Plus, it's the odd one out. And I 爱情 that in people.
All of this was rushing through my head as the 鹘, 猎鹰 led us through a forest. I was so interested in it, I failed to see a 树 root and tripped. No matter. I got up and continued running, until the 鹘, 猎鹰 landed on a rock in front of a cave.
"what is this place, my friend," Zane asked.
"Tis' a portal. To different worlds. A gate through time and space. And a 墙 between here, and the place 你 call the underworld." 说 a mysterious voice. Then, out from the cave came a fish/fox/human thing. It looked like a mix of Lego, real world, claymation, and any other drawing format imaginable!
The ninja took out their weapons, and Mikey looked about ready to Spinjitsu the crap out of her.
"wait. I do not sense any hostility toward us." Zane said. How awesome is he?
"what the hell are you?" Kelcey asked.
"My name is Lilacode. I am the portal master. The gatekeeper. The 墙 builder. This cave is my home. And I sent this robotic 鹘, 猎鹰 to find 你 four. For it is time to return home. Say your goodbyes. This is the last 你 will ever see of each other." it said.
"I'm gonna call 你 lilac." Kelcey said, paying almost no attention to what was going on.
"but wait. Isn't there any way we could ever come and visit?" Mikey asked.
"no. It is too dangerous, not having 你 back on your side of the border. It could bring the I tire 黑夜传说 into your world and destroy all life." 说 lilac.
"how?" 松鸦, 杰伊, 杰伊 · asked.
"because for every person dead, one is born. And the 黑夜传说 is beneath us for a reason. Every good soul on earth is like a paperweight on a helium balloon. The balloon want so badly to go up, but the paperweight holds it down. Take enough pressure off the balloon, and it does what it wants. Rises up. Do 你 get it?" 紫丁香, 丁香 explained.
"yes, but what do four good souls make a difference. Three, if 你 count the fact that Kelce can sometimes act like a bloodthirsty psychopath." Mikey said.
"well, uh... Um... It counts- I mean- . . . Not at all, really." 说 lilac.
"aha! So we arent causing trouble!" I said.
"yes, but it's much 更多 than that! Your only here now because of a remote! 你 all wished to be here for a day, and 你 were! Five days, really!" 说 Lilac.
"hold on. A remote?" Cole asked.
"yes, when they pressed channel up they were brought here. But I have already collected my universal remote, and am ready to transport them home" 紫丁香, 丁香 explained.
"but, can we please keep the remote? We promise we won't go anywhere else but ninjago!" Mikey pleaded
"NO." 紫丁香, 丁香 said.
"but-"
"I 说 no, Daniel!" she fussed.
"give us- uh, them, one good reason why not!" Kai said. Did he actiually WANT us to come back?
"there's jnit really a reason. I just fear something might happen to the portal if it's left open for long enough." 说 lilac.
"what if we promise never to stay long enough for that to happen?" Danny asked.
". . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Fine." 说 lilac.
She took a backpack from behind the rock Zane's 鹘, 猎鹰 was perched. It looked much like ours. She waited a 秒 and then shuffled through it. At least, she dug out and ordinary looking 电视 remote.
"you are only to use the channel up and channel down buttons. If its and emergency, use the fast 前锋, 期待 and rewind buttons. They control time. Oh, and please. Before traveling to this universe, press pause in your own. That way 你 won't cause any panic." 说 lilac. She handed me the remote.
"oh, and one 更多 thing." Mikey said. "These back packs we landed with-"
"ah yes, the infinite carriers. They fill themselves with supplies that would be helpful for any decision and outcome. And expand to fit anything, too. Please, do keep them." 说 lilac. "now, say your good byes and get it over with, because I'm not very fond of farewells." 说 he/she/it. What was she?
Amongst all the goodbying that was going on, I saw Cole drag Kelcey off to the side. I couldn't make out anything they were saying, but I just decided to ask her later.
Instead I walked up to Zane.
"I'm gonna miss your awesome falcon." I said. "and 你 two. Even though all I did was annoy the hell out of you." I hugged him. It felt like I was shaking hands with the president.
Mikey's POV
"I still can't believe 你 beat my high score AND learned Spinjitsu all in one day!" 松鸦, 杰伊, 杰伊 · said.
"heh heh, yeah, sorry 'bout that." I said, rubbing the back of my neck.
"Don't worry. I'll have a whole nother record set when 你 come back. I 墙 NOT have a 12 年 old beating me at my own game." He said.
"fist bump?" I held out a fist.
We fist bumped, and I did an explosion.
"dude. What the fapoo? 你 gotta do an explosion. It's in the book." I said.
Danny's POV
I never really got to meet Kai yet, and we were alread leaving. I sat lonely 由 Lilac, hoping if he even noticed I was here at all.
"he does." 紫丁香, 丁香 said.
"who? What?" I asked.
"Kai. He acknowledges your presence. Why don't 你 to tell him about how your his biggest fan, and 你 have all his sets." she suggested.
"Ok!" I said.
I walked up to Kai.
"Hi." I said, waiting for a reply.
"hi." Kai said.
"I'm your biggest fan! I have every one of your sets!" I said, hoping not to sound obsessed, like Kaitlyn and Kelcey.
"cool, so I have a fan?" Kai sounded a little skeptical.
"Yeah!" I said. "look, I even drew a picture of you!" I said, taking a crumpled piece of paper from my pocket.
"that's awesome, uh... Danny?" He said.
I beamed at the fact that he knew my name. He was even 更多 epic in person!
Kelcey's POV
Cole was apologizing for everything. For his making me think he hated me, for Kai's untrusting attitude toward us. Yelling at me.
"you don't need to apologize, I get it. I just dropped out of nowhere and 你 didn't know what to expect. Plus I kept going fangirl mode on you. Lesson learned. Only hug attack One Direction and Josh Hutcherson. Never a ninja." i said. "speaking of," I gave him another hug.
No one's POV
"okay, okay, come on 你 four, lets get this over with!!!" 紫丁香, 丁香 yelled.
The four children ran in front of lilac.
"and kaitlyn, since 你 were wondering, I'm a girl." she said. She pressed channel down and the four of them diss appeared into a puff of smoke.
EPILOGUE:
Mikey landed one A bed, on 最佳, 返回页首 of his sister and cousins, infront of a TV.
"aww, we're not Lego anymore!" Danny complained.
"it's all right, well be back." Mikey assured him.
Later that evening, Kelcey and Kaitlyn were enjoying tacos for dinner.
"Le Gasp!" kaitlyn exclaimed, "we forgot to ask Zane to make us tacos!" she said.
A smile creeped across Kelcey's face.
"universal remote?" she asked.
"oh yeah!" 说 kaitlyn, whipping the normal-looking object out of her pocked. She pressed channel up, and the fell through the floor and landed on the night time deck of the bounty in a heep.
"what are 你 two doing back here?" Zane asked, looking down on them.
"we forgot-"
"to ask you-"
"to make us some tacos!!!" they said.
Zane just stared at them.
"it's 塔科, 炸玉米饼 Friday, and we just remembered that we never yet tasted your legandary cooking!" kaitlyn summarized.
"oh, I have." Kelcey told her.
"I guess I could, just this once." Zane said. He led the girls to the kitchen. But Kelcey was distracted as Cole walked by. She went fangirl mode and raced over to him.
"HI!" she 说 stalkerishly.
"uh, it's back!" Cole 说 jokingly. They laughed. "seriously why are 你 here?"
"tacos. Zane's tacos." she said. With that, kaitlny cam in with a plastic bag and grabbed her wrist.
"oh, 嘿 Cole!" she said, as she pressed channel down. They dissipated into smoke.
"oh yeah. They'll be back." cole said.
