Oscar-winning singer-songwriter Randy Newman has 说 that he wanted Lady GaGa and Katy Perry to perform a song from Toy Story 3.
Speaking to New York Magazine, Newman, who scored a 12th Oscar nomination this 年 for the track ‘We Belong Together’ from the 皮克斯 sequel, 说 that he originally thought of asking either of the pair to sing the song as a duet with John Mayer.
“I actually wrote it thinking it would be a duet. Maybe get John Mayer and Lady GaGa, 或者 I don’t know, Katy Perry? But 皮克斯 thought not,” he explained.
