End of Chapter 4
"Jacob, is your father there?" Charlie 天鹅 asked, and from the tone in his voice I knew something was wrong.
"Dad, it's Charlie." I 说 as I handed him the phone. My Dad made a bunch of uh huh's and oh no's before he told Charlie that he would be up as soon as possible.
"What's up?" I asked.
"We have to go to Forks, NOW" He 说 as he went and grabbed a 夹克 off the hooks 由 the door.
"Why?" I wondered as I grabbed my 夹克 and the keys.
"Bella's missing." He 说 as he wheeled to the door.
I was instantly moving, grabbing my 夹克 and beating my father to the car. I helped him in and was driving before I realized it, if Bella was missing then I would find her..or do what I could to help. I was sure of one thing though, that Edward Cullen must have something to do with this and that made me hate him more.
Chapter 5
When we pulled onto Charlie's 街, 街道 the entire yard was lit 由 街, 街道 lights as well as headlights. There were about twenty people standing in the front yard, and as we pulled up a few heads turned but it seemed that the majority were gathered around a 表 on the grass.I helped my dad out of the car, and was about half way up the path when Charlie came running out of the house. He ran right to the 表 and started barking orders to people who quickly took off running in the directions he told them.
"Charlie." My father yelled as I pushed him closer to where Charlie was standing. "What do 你 want us to do?"
Charlie 天鹅 turned slowly and when I saw the look on his face I stifled a gasp. Charlie 天鹅 looked older then I had ever seen him, his eyes were bloodshot and his usual happy expression was replaced 由 one that was filled with horror. He rubbed his eyes and pulled out a small slip of white paper that he had obviously folded and unfolded many times. He handed it my father without a word, and as my father read it so did I.

Going for a walk with Edward, put the path. Back soon.

"How long 以前 did 你 find this?" My father asked.
"Two hours ago, when it started to get dark I started to worry. I tried calling the Cullen house, but there is no answer."
"We'll find her Charlie." My father 说 as he reached out and handed the note back, which Charlie folded and put back in his breast pocket. "Jacob, could 你 go in the house and call around. Try Sam and the Clearwaters, they will find people to help. Tell them to hurry."
I didn't say anything, I just turned and ran in the house and began dialing numbers from my memory. I tried the Clearwaters, but there was no answer so I had to try Sam Uley. The phone rang a few times before he answered, sounding a bit out of breath.
"Sam, it's Jacob." I said, groaning internally at the fact that I had to call him.
"What's up Jacob?"
"My father asked me to call you, Bella 天鹅 went for a walk in the woods a few hours 以前 and no one has heard from her since. My father is asking that 你 find and bring some people up to help us look." I explained, rushing so I didn't have to talk to him.
"She went in the woods?"
"Yeah, to meet her boyfriend." I explained, the word boyfriend coming out between my teeth.
"Tell your father that we'll be up in ten minutes, that we will 搜索 the woods." He said, his tone full of certainty.
"Ok, we'll see 你 then I guess." I said, but he had already hung up.
I made my way back outside and told my father what Sam had 说 he smiled and called for Charlie. He told Charlie that we would find Bella shortly, that we had called for help and that the group that was coming would find her for sure. Charlie just nodded before turning and going to check in with other searchers.
"Dad, I'm going to go help." I 说 as I started walking towards the woods.
"No, Jacob stay here." He said, not looking at me but at the woods that surrounded the house.
"Dad, I can't just sit here. I have to do something."
"Jacob, be patient." He 说 as he turned his head to the west and smiled slightly.
I was about to ask him what he was smirking at when I saw Sam Uley come walking out of the woods wearing nothing but a pair of cut off jeans. In his arms was a small bundle that I thought was wood until I saw the dark brown hair hanging over his arm.
"I've got her." Sam yelled as he walked towards the house.
Everything happened at once, people were running to help Sam who didn't seem burdened 由 Bella at all. Others were running into the house, someone saying something about making 茶 while another asked where the blankets and pillows were. I heard a man yell to another that they needed to call for the doctor, and some yelled that Doc Cullen was gone along with the rest of his family...perfect timing.
