Super Junior's Heechul and 李知恩 donated to victims of the 最近的 Gangwon Province wildfire.

On April 5, reports revealed Heechul donated 30 million Won ($26,360.42 USD) to help those affected 由 the wildfire through the organization 'Fruits of Love', and 李知恩 donated 100 million Won ($87,870.50 USD) through the 'Green Umbrella Children's Foundation'.

As Gangwon is Heechul's hometown province, he expressed, "I was very hurt seeing the wildfires spread around the Kangwon Province. I hope this becomes a bit of help to the locals." The 'Green Umbrella Children's Foundation' also stated, "IU has consistently donated to the children of low-income families and students, and after hearing the news of the fire, she donated 100 million Won. IU's donation of 100 million Won will go towards the children of low-income families, children living with elderly grandparents, and children with single parents who were affected 由 the fires."

Though the Gangwon Province wildfire has been put out, there was a large amount of property lost. One man in his 50s 迷失 his life, while one other person suffered an injury.
