IU‘s agency has released a statement revealing that they have taken action towards malicious commenters as well as those who are spreading composite 照片 of the singer.

LOEN 树 officials 说 on November 19th, “On the 17th, we have filed a complaint against the publishers of the malicious 评论 and the distributors of the false composite 照片 (of IU) to the Seoul Gangnam Police Station.”

In 2013, the culprit who spread a malicious rumor about 李知恩 was caught but upon an agreement, was 给 200 hours of community service and the complaint was dropped. However, LOEN 树 warns that this time around, they will not 显示 leniency towards the culprits this time around.

Earlier this month, a composite 照片 of 李知恩 began spreading but was proven to be photoshop. The 照片 was originally taken at IU’s 粉丝 meeting but was composited as if she was performing in lingerie. The agency has been busy tracking down the original poster since then.
