“Modern Times – Epilogue” is a repackaged version of IU’s third album, and contains two new songs, her self-composed 标题 song, “Friday” and new song “Crayon” (which was featured on her currently airing drama “Beautiful Man”). The album was released on December 20 at noon.
“Fridayy” topped Melon, Olleh Music, Bugs and Genie charts within an 小时 after its release. The song itself has a 摇摆, 秋千 rhythm and addictive melody; its lyrics straightforwardly express a girl’s fluttering 心 before a date. 李知恩 took on 写作 and composing the song, roping in History’s Jang Yi Jeong for a featuring on the song.
