For those of 你 who do not know what manhunt is it is a game that is basically like hide and go seek in the dark. Don’t ask me why they are playing manhunt…they just are xD Very 随意 and probably OOC but anyways hope 你 like it:]
Everyone was at Robert’s country house which was ironically in the country. It was a 安全 haven for getaways and nights like these when he wanted his 老友记 over for a campout and bbq. It wasn’t far away from his home, just about 10 miles. But what was special about this was it was in the coutry of LA and close to a 老友记 farm. It was a cute little log 舱, 小木屋 (but they were pitching tents and camping outside) with a nice earthy lawn full of good ol’ twigs and leaves and a little pond. It also had an old 谷仓 that they used as storage and a field surrounding them…literally. To enter and exit 你 had to drive through the hayfield.
It was a perfect night and place for manhunt…especially with the field not cut. It was just getting dark and everyone was up getting changed into dark clothes except for Lisa who already wore dark clothes. She walked down to the pond and sat on the little bench and watched the sunset. It was so beautiful. All the 颜色 displayed in the sky as the sun sank low. Her thaughts were interupted when someone sat 下一个 to her and mad her jump.
“Sorry.” Hugh 说 smiling. “It’s ok.” She smiled back and looked at the sun again. “It’s beautiful.” She 说 leanig 前锋, 期待 and putting her chin in her hands. “Mmmm.” He agreed not looking at the sun but looking at her. He shook his head once he caught himself staring at her. The sky was beautiful he now notcied. The 颜色 especially. The crikets were starting to chirp and one chirped right 下一个 to Lisa’s foot. She jumped and landed very close to him. He laughed a little when he realized that her hand landed on his thigh. “It’s just a criket.” He 说 reassuring her. “Sorry.” She blushed and removed her hand and scootched back over.
“Lisa! Hugh! We’re going to start!” Robert yelled. “Well, we better go.” She said. “Ready to kick some butt?” He asked. “Hell yeah.” They ran up the the 爬坡道, 小山 back to the house together where eveyrone was waiting. “Ok. Lisa, Hugh, Me, and Peter are one team and Omar, Olivia, Jesse, and Jen are the other. Now, I know we’re not childeren but the wife says we have to use the buddy system so Lisa and Hugh are buddies. Peter and I are buddies. Omar and Olivia are buddies. Jesse and Jen are buddies. Hide with your buddy. Your buddy get’s found, then 你 can run like hell. We’ll be turning out the lights in just a minute. I recommend turning your phones on vibrate so nobody uses that tactic to find you. Ummm, I wouldn’t recommend anyone to run towards the edge, walk. Don’t be afraid of the animals, they are 更多 scared of 你 then 你 are of them.” As Robert was explaining the animal part Lisa’s eyes got big and she moved closer to Hugh who laughed a little. “With that out of the way. Let’s have some fun. Oh and team one is my team and team 2 is the other. Honey! What team goes first?” He called into his wife. “Uh, how about team 1.” She suggested. “Thankyou. Ready for the lights now.” He called back and all the lights went out. “Oh yeah. This bench is safe.” He reminded them.
“Go!” Omar yelled and everyone scrambled away while team 2 counted to 100. “Where are we hiding?” She asked as they ran towards the barn. “No idea.” He 说 laughing. They went around the 谷仓 and started looking. “Hugh! Here!” She called and they stopped. They crawled under a piece of metal that was leaned on the barn. It was actually a 最佳, 返回页首 to a truck and it was dark and perfect for manhunt. “This is perfect.” He 说 with excitement.
They were basically in a wedge between the 谷仓 and a small shed. The only way out was from the way they came 或者 if they crawled to the very point of the wedge and under a bush. They sat down and waited. “Can 你 hear them yet?” She asked. “No.” He replied looking at her. He was sitting on the outside closest to the entrance and she was closest to the exit. They were crouching right now but it was very uncomfortable so they decided to sit.
He sat first and then when she sat she fell on him making them both laugh. They tried to control their laughter but somehow trying to control it made it even funnier so they laughed even more. After a 秒 they supressed their laughing and that’s when she relaized that she was still on him. She carefully sat down on the soft ground and waited.
“I think someone just screamed 100.” He said. “Finally.” She said. He got up first and grabbed her hand and helped her up. They knealed on their knees so they would be ready incase they had to run. A couple people ran past them running after someone. It was pitch black so it was impossible to see. Then someone got a little too close to them and they were trying not to laugh but she let out a little one and they both nearly got caught until someone screamed “Got one!” And distracted the person.
“Maybe we should 移动 farther back just incase they come back.” He suggested whispering. “Yeah.” She 说 and started moving back. There was tall 草 all over so that came as an advantage for hiding…but the sharp rocks did not. “Ouch!” She yelled in a whisper. “What happened?” He asked. “There’s rocks up here...sharp rocks.” She answered back. They crawled 2 更多 steps before she stopped. “What’s wrong?” He asked. “Th-th-there is something up there.” She studdered obviously scared.
She then gasped and turned around and crawled back as fast as she could to him, grabbing his arm and hanging on him for protection. “What was it?” He asked laughing a little. “A damn criket thing.” She 说 making him laugh even more. “Why are 你 laughing?” She couldn’t figure out why he was laughing when as far as she was concerned they were in danger. “It’s a tiny cricket. It’s not going to hurt you…I promise.” He reassured her. His eyes boring holes into her even in the dark. "You go first."
He nodded and went to crawl but was stopped 由 her clinging to him still. “I can’t go first when 你 are still wrapped around me.” He stated with a smile. She looked down at his arm and her grip, not wating to let go for fear that the thing might get her. “We’ll both go first.” She 说 and he laughed a little and nodded. They both crawled through the thickness of the brush and could hear people’s screams. “Who’s left?” They heard Omar ask. “Uh, Lisa and Hugh.” Jesse replied and then there was silence. “Let’s try to get to the 安全 now.” He whispered as they neared the escape.
