Late at night, Wilson found himself seated in front of his bar 表 alone. He was having a couple of shot with his scotch feeling depressed like the night Amber died. A lot of things come and go in his mind; cancer patients, the cancer conference, House and Cuddy. With the bar lamp, one could tell he has been crying and all I could say was that he was drunk and a mess. Pitt’s 问题 came into his mind like a bullet and it nearly killed him. He didn’t expect himself to just stand there and say nothing, leaving his friend’s doctor suspicious.
Pitt: Are you?
Wilson: Am I?
He asked himself in the dim room before taking another drink from his glass. He himself doesn’t know the answer 或者 maybe, just like House, he knows the answer, he just don’t want to admit it. Either way, just like what House said, it will be badly screwed.

A few blocks away was Cuddy’s House. She was surprised to see Blythe, House’s mother, on her doorway but she let her in and even offered her a cup of 茶 which the woman gratefully accepted. Blythe looked at Cuddy as she placed the 水果 basket she brought for her.
Blythe: A 水果 basket is not even enough to owe 你 for what you’ve done.
Cuddy smiled and sat down on the chair in front of her.
Cuddy: 你 actually don’t have to. But thanks anyway…
Blythe smiled back.
Cuddy: Have 你 seen House lately?
Blythe: No, but James called me and 说 he’s out of coma.
Cuddy: Yes, he is and his leg is fine…
Blythe: I’m so excited to see him like before…
Cuddy: I’m sure 你 are…
From the nursery, the ladies heard Rachel’s cry. Cuddy stood up and went back in the living room with her daughter at her arms. Apparently, the baby’s hungry and need some cradling which her mother gave her at once. Blythe looked at them with a smile on her lips.
Blythe: Your daughter?
Cuddy: Yes…
Blythe: Gregory’s?
Cuddy: <scoffed> No… I just adopted her from a patient who just died because of Post-partum Eclampsia
Blythe: I see…
A moment of silence grew between them as Cuddy slowly cradled little Rachel. Blythe stood up and moved closer to them.
Blythe: May I?
Cuddy: Are 你 sure?
Blythe: Yes…
Cuddy carefully handed Rachel to House’s mother as the baby cooed and was peacefully falling asleep in Blythe’s arm.
Blythe: I haven’t carried a little creature such as these for 50 years…
Cuddy: <smiled> Seriously?
Blythe: My son would always hate to see me carry a baby when he was still young. He resented me for doing so…
Cuddy smiled and fixed some scattered things on the table.
Blythe: He thought, just because I carry a new one that means I’m replacing him…
Cuddy: <whispery> House is House…
Blythe: Does he do the same to you?
Cuddy faced Blythe and tried to hide her embarrassment for saying such. She stammered a few words before Blythe reassured her with a smile saying it’s okay.
Cuddy: Well, he did… in his House-ian way… I guess…
Blythe smiled and looked at the baby again. Cuddy walked up 下一个 to her and carefully carried Rachel herself and began walking to the baby carriage.
Cuddy: There 你 go Rachel, sleep tight dear child…
Blythe: I guess… Greg won’t and will never give me a grandchild…
Cuddy smiled as she fixed the pillows around Rachel.
Blythe: But Lisa… Rachel would do…
Cuddy and Blythe smiled.

On the other hand, it was a hard 日 for House in Mayfield. It was his first week in physical therapy and apparently, he’s doing great. Pitt even told him he might be out early unlike what had been expected. When Pitt left his new room, House unpack his bag immediately, letting his clothes touch the mattress he also brought in. His leg pain is becoming painful again but he manages to stand up like what a normal person does. All he did was to rub it time to time but it didn’t help that much.
As he was fixing his clothes in a cabinet, Amber seemed to appear in a flash. He looked back but didn’t saw anything before he continues to fix his stuff again and rubbed his leg for the tenth time since the time he got in his new room.
He was fixing his last 衬衫 when he felt something came down from it. He looked down only to see the same lipstick he saw in BSN. Cuddy’s lipstick. He gasped and was brought into the real world again. It turned out to be a Vicodin pill and he kicked it under the drawer before sitting on the edge of his 床, 床上 and was breathing heavily.
