House and Cuddy adventure #1
It was the summer staff night out at PPBH. Cuddy and House were both in their own homes getting ready. Wilson and the team were already there eating the 螃蟹 cakes from the buffet and drinking a lot of alcohol.
House was always late, and Cuddy had to wait around for Tammy the nanny to arrive to baby sit Rachel.
Wilson: I can’t believe Cuddy isn’t here already. She’s always so punctual (He checks his watch before drinking some 更多 champagne.)
Chase: I thought Cameron sat the world record for getting ready. Look at Kutner (Chase pointed and smiled at Kutner who was dancing alone in the middle of the hospital reception as the DJ played “The 星, 星级 Trekking” song.)
(Taub mysteriously sat down in the corner, with a bottle of wine in his hand and a solemn look on his face.)
Cameron: Taub! (Cameron waved at Taub as he sulked in the corner. Taub smiled back before returning to a frown and staring out into the packed vicinity of the reception.)
Kutner: Hey! (Kutner and Thirteen smiled and waved at each other. Thirteen sashayed her way to Kutner and joined him in the funky dance whilst Foreman walked casually past them both and joined Taub with some champagne in his hand.)

Meanwhile, Cuddy was at her 首页 getting ready. She slipped into her tight black flowy dress and fixed her hair and jewellery.
Cuddy: Hey, come here. (Cuddy picked up Rachel and lovingly cuddled her before there was a knock on the door.)
Tammy: Hey! 嘿 gorgeous! (Cuddy handed Rachel to Tammy before rushing back to her bathroom to fix her make-up and check herself out.)
Cuddy: Thank 你 so much Tammy. Do 你 think I suit this?
Tammy: 你 look beautiful Dr.Cuddy. Rachel’s fine, 你 should get going.
Cuddy: Thanks. (Cuddy smiled wearily back at her reflection in the mirror before grabbing her car keys and leaving.)

House was lying in 床, 床上 looking at a suit hanging from above the door of his bedroom. He sat up and let out a sigh, he was nervous.
House: Should I go?
(House bit the bullet and changed into his suit before swinging his cane and walking out the door.)

House pulled up outside the hospital first, handing his car keys to the valet. He brushed himself before clearing his throat and walking in to find Wilson at the bar with a glass of whisky ready for him.
Wilson: I got 你 a drink. Thought 你 might need it.
(House looked puzzled as he took a sip, trying not to be noticed looking around for Cuddy.)
Wilson: If you’re looking for Cuddy, she hasn’t turned up. Yet.
(Wilson smiled as House drank some 更多 of his whisky.)
Wilson: I didn’t expect 你 to come. 你 hate things like this.
House: It was this or, actually it was just this.
Wilson: Are 你 sure it was nothing to do with a certain Dean of Medicine?
House: Yeah, I’m sure. Are 你 sure 你 didn’t just come for the free drinks?
(Wilson hesitated.)
Wilson: Everyone did. (He drank some 更多 champagne.)
House: (House pointed over at Taub and Foreman.) See that’s another reason why these things are a waste of-
(House noticed Wilson wasn’t paying attention and was looking straight past House. House turned around and there; standing at the doors was Cuddy. Her black satin dress, which hugged every curve, sparkled under the dim lighting of the reception area. Her face was radiant, glowing as she smiled over at Wilson before her eyes met House’s; she lowered her smile slightly almost as if she were slightly embarrassed 由 him looking at her with his jaw dropped to the floor.)
Wilson: Wow. She looks beautiful.
(Cuddy walked over towards them, as they stood at the bar. House tried hard to conceal the expression of 爱情 on his face.)
Cuddy: Hey.
Wilson: Lisa, 你 look. 你 look so beautiful.
(Cuddy hesitated slightly before smiling.)
Cuddy: Thank you.
(Cuddy looked up at House, who couldn’t speak. Cuddy stood for a few 更多 秒 as they gazed longingly into each other’s eyes.)
Cuddy: Well. If 你 excuse me I have some benefactors I have to go schmooze.
(Wilson smiled before returning to his drink, watching Cuddy walk past them over to where the tables were.)
Wilson: Yeah, I don’t think you’ve got a crush House.
(House drank some 更多 of his whisky and looked down at the ground with a look of sadness on his face.)

A few hours went by, and Kutner was slumped on one of the round tables with Thirteen sitting 下一个 to him stroking his hair. Foreman looking on in envy whilst he and Taub sat opposite them on the same 表 with five 或者 six empty champagne glasses in front of them.
House and Wilson were on another 表 a few feet away, Wilson was nearly passed out, whilst House couldn’t keep his eyes off Cuddy. Who was sitting very close to one of the older benefactors, flicking her hair and looking at him flirtatiously.
Cuddy was laughing and listening inventively to the jokes he made, before she caught House looking at her from the corner of her eye. She turned her head and her smile dropped as she saw how alone House was, and how even though she caught him looking, he didn’t turn away. House wanted her to know he was looking, and wanting her.
Cuddy: Excuse me.
(Cuddy stood up and walked away from the table, and walked past House’s table; gesturing him to follow her outside. House looked around before adhering to her request. Cuddy was standing to the side of the doors, it was cold outside but she didn’t care.)
House: What-
(Before he could even finish his sentence, Cuddy kissed him on the lips. Such a tender kiss.)
Cuddy: I’m sorry it’s just-
(House kissed her back; this time he wrapped his arms around her to warm her up. Cuddy and House let go of all their angst and embraced each other with a passionate kiss.)
Cuddy: House.
House: I’ll take 你 home, if 你 want me to that is.
(Cuddy looked into his baby blue eyes and smiled.)
Cuddy: I’d like that.
House walked Cuddy to her car, and opened the door for her. Before they drove off, it began to snow.
Wilson looked outside and saw them together getting into the car, and he smiled before silently laughing to himself.
Wilson: Finally.
