I feel sorry for the Twilight fans that are actually deep and knowledgeable, but are stereotyped with the other fans, such as kilie and teamedwardgirl. Guys, I apologize that you are grouped with such shallow, ignorant, naive, irrelevant, and foolish people.
What has Bella done to be a good person?
Ginny was battling against Voldemort and the death eaters in the end of the last book and she put her life in danger to save her family and loved ones and her friends. And Ginny is a much more courageous person and a stronger woman than Bella will ever be in a million years.
Bella isn't a good person. She constantly whines about her friends. Especially Mike - she imagines him with a "wagging tail" and thought of him as a golden retriever. I'm sorry, but, what a shallow bitch! All she cares about is the so-called "hot" guys (AKA Edward the dead vampire and Jacob the pedowolf).
Ginny is strong, independent and funny. She's extremely popular, but Ginny, unlike Bella, is actually kind to her friends. Most people think that Luna is an 'oddity' and Neville is an idiot - but Ginny doesn't. That's why I like her so much.
I was going to write something long and detailed but my fellow Phoenix Fighters (MissDK and Mrs-Grint) have already said it all.
Kilie, you posted this question so you of all people should know it said who's a good PERSON, not who's more attractive. Ginny's ugly doesn't count as a reason. Bella's stupid and selfish, therefore, Ginny's a better person.

BTW, read the books before you judge anything, the movies are just an adaptation and shouldn't be the cause for judging something. The books are always better than the movies and Ginny is a better person than Bella.

Ginny may not be my favorite character, but she is a heck of a lot better than Bella. At least Ginny treats her friend right. Ginny is a strong female, she doesn't go suicidal when Harry leaves her, and she can hold her own ground. She actually has hobbies (Quidditch, for one, as well as making mischief with Luna and Neville) and she has personality flaws (she becomes slutty, she can be mean sometimes). She has more personality than Bella could ever dream of having, and she is infinitely more deep (she actually cares for Harry because of his PERSONALITY, not because he's the hottest guy in school. Of course, Twilight characters wouldn't know a personality if it hit them in the face, so I guess there isn't much more to look for). Bella is disrespectful and rude, she only cares about pretty people. She looks down upon everyone and abuses her friends. Ginny risks her life in order to take down Voldemort. Bella only stands up to the Volturi because she is FORCED to. Ginny sacrifices a lot (ex. Fred, who is actually her brother for those of you who don't know, and she sacrificed her relationship with Harry, she sacrificed her happiness in order to fight a force of evil), while Bella sacrifices nothing that she actually CARES about (she didn't care about her parents. She didn't care about her friends. She didn't have a life to begin with).

Bella went all suicidal after edward left her she abandoned and lied to her dad. she got freakin pregnet.
Ginny would never go all suicidal if Harry left her. shes honest with her family and always sticks up for them. and Ginny waited until she was old enough to have kids.
Ginny never led one of her best friends on, and then stabbed them in the back, and instead of going depressed and stupid for months when her boyfriend left her, she accepted it was for her own safety. also she actually fought in a battle, she does stuff for herself.

2. Ginny is supposed to be attractive and beautiful. Bella-Sue is...well, you know *disgust*.
