Why did they make Breaking Dawn into 2 电影院 ? What's the point ?

While it's not exactly action packed, it is long. A lot does happen. There are two seperate plot lines in the book. The wedding/honeymoon/birth, then there's the raising of Renesmee/Volturi threat/training with all the vampires/confronting the Volturi. (I don't know how it will be divided up. That's only a guess)
If all that was squeezed into a typical 2-hour movie, it would only allow roughly 15 分钟 on each topic. It deserves 更多 than that, no matter how much certain people dislike it.

There are plenty of long 电影院 without nonstop action.

They wanted to copy Harry Potter, of course.

What? It is a good reason. Lots of people want to copy HP. Percy Jackson did (yeah, HP fans, I admit it; but I still 爱情 PJO more!). The Magician's Daughter did. I did... sort of. Well, I subconsciously copied Harry's look.

While it's completely understandable to want to be like one of the greatest book/movie phenomenons ever, there's this little thing called plagerism. That's why Bella doesn't have red hair and Edward doesn't have glasses and a scar. So they did the 下一个 best thing: copy the franchise style.

I alaways thought it was to make 更多 money.

Two films= Twice the money.......... its all about the money!

I think that there's quite a lot of stuff going on, that may have needed it to be a bit longer than normal two-hour movies- even if a lot of stuff is absolute crap (as is some people's opinion).
But I also think that the fact that DH is 分裂, 拆分 made them realise just how good splitting it is. Obviously there gonna get at least twice as much money from this, and that's just ticket sales. Proper 粉丝 will get posters from both parts and other merch. Money wise- it's an obvious 移动 really. :D x

Because Stephanie Meyer wrote a book full of crap (at least in my opinion)and then the people making the movie though they should keep all the same crap in the movie then realised it was too long and thought um what should we do, then heard DH was going to be two 电影院 and went "I know we'll make two movies"

They actually kind of did have a lot of information in Breaking Dawn. There was the wedding and honey moon and Bella finding out she was pregnant (it is still a romance so they aren't going to cut those parts out/down), there's the thing with Jacobs wolf-pack, the explanation (however half-assed it was) about Nessie, Irina finding out about her and running to the Volturi, there's the whole explanation about the Immortal Children, Alice and Jasper running off, the gathering (and practicing) of the other clans, and the "showdown" at the end. It's too much stuff to put into one two-hour long movie.

There is no answer. There is no understanding. Twilight is crap (in my opinion) and they decided it would make it better to copy HP's style...I doubt I'm wasting money to watch two halves of crap...

I have a simple answer for you:
MONEY!

Think about it; Twilight is HUGE these days, so a lot of fangirls/guys are going to want to see BD and will pay a lot of money to see it...
Then HP announced that they're splitting DH into two parts.
Now, I'm sure 你 all know that HP is also a big thing, therefore they are also making a lot of money from their 电影院 as well...
So then some "genius" on the Twilight set thought, "Hey! Let's make two 电影院 and get LOADS of money just like HP!" (the HP bit may 或者 may not have been included the their thought process...depends on the intelligence and how anti-plagerism this genius is)
Therefore BD: Pt. 1&2 is born

I bought breaking dawn and i dont know how anyone could read the whole book 或者 even like it!

i think it the last part of the series...so definitely it contains a lot of stuff about other vampire too...like kate and her mother...there are lot of characters and each character has its liltle story in it...plus the honey moon was just fine not too long

It's called drawing it out to make 更多 money. duh. They did it with Harry Potter too. Now people have to pay to see 2 更多 电影院 as opposed to 1.
