switchfootified Oh my, Im so sorry. Something similar happened to me. I had 2 hamsters, named Cinnamon and Sugar ( they were siblings )Sugar got sick first, like really sick, so we took her to the vet. The vet said that he thought she had a kidney infection, but they needed a blood test to make sure that that was the case. Apparently she was to weak for the blood test and she died as they were trying to revive her. It turned out she actually had kidney failure, which isnt uncommon in hammies. That day that she died was actually her 2nd birthday ; _ ; My second hammy, Cinnamon started to have the same syptoms a few months after sugars death. We figured it isnt worth it to go to the vet and instead just to give him love. The night he died was actually March 23, the day the hunger games came out. As he was dieing i was holding him in my hand, and he was looking at me with his bright little eyes the whole time. I think he knew that we loved him. ; _ ; I want another hamster, but I dont wanna go through the same experience :( Im sorry for your loss
